The Unknown Child

How!?

Dr. Blu's PoV

    I was pacing back and forth. Today was the day Echidna's test with 096, and I could only pray to whatever is out there that they will be ok and just not look at his face. After about six or seven back and forth, my office door opened. I stopped and looked at the door and saw Sherman. He looked pissed.

    He walked in and forced my door shut, causing it to slam. "We need to talk. Now, " He stated and walked up closer to me. This made me very nervous. I almost never see him this pissed mainly just joking or a little upset. "W-what about," I stammered and backed up a bit. He pulled up his tablet, and the picture on it scared me deeply. The picture was of Echidna face to face with 096. Even though his face was blanked out, you could see where his neck was turned towards them.

    I freaked out and started to stammer more, ranting questions like, "Are they ok?, did 096 get angry and attack? What happened to 096? Is Echidna even alive now?" Sherman put his hands on both my shoulders, and he stared directly in my eyes. His eyes answered all of my questions. They were filled with emotions; confusion, relief, and some fright.

    "They are fine, and 096 has been extremely docile since his meeting with them," he straightened up, and now I knew why he was feeling those emotions, I looked at him with the same. If they aren't hurt even though they stare directly into his eyes, then they have to have done something, but what?                                              

   "Travis already sent in a D-class, and he killed them like his past ones, It's just Echidna," Sherman said. Now I was even more confused, but then I remembered something. I rushed over to my desk and grabbed the file for their first test with 049. I flipped through it, "when they were with 049, he didn't hesitate to touch them and we all know that his touch can kill and yet they are still her, I was so worried with them being mentally ok I didn't realize"

    Sherman looked at me like he just had a light ball moment and I think I had the same one, "then that means that the other SCPs abilities don't work on them, and they manage to calm an semi-aggressive one" I stated and this only brought more questions. Sherman stated one last thing that I immediately agreed with "We can not let Travis find out about this." I nodded

Outside the door

    A soft chuckle is heard. The black haired man is leaning against the door. Listening to the conversation, whispering to himself, "Perfect, we will see if they can calm two of the most dangerous SCPs, " he smirked and locked his bottom lip at the thought

    He quickly moved back and rounded a corner, right as he did the door reopened and Sherman came out, "I'll see you later Blu, get some rest and calm your mind as I can guess that it is racing" he chuckled as he left.

    Dark green eyes watched as he left. He turned down the hall he had rounded in and left down said hall again, smirking to himself.

"Hope you're ready SB-699 or should I say Echidna."
