Chapter 8

Hello

I recently found a character for Lizz but the more i look around the more i see that there is no actor perfect enought to play David. My image of him in my head is very specific and no actor maches that. Would you guys would please recomend some actor to play David and actors for Trish if you find one.

This chapter is dedicated to the very first person to follow me. It may be a little late but thatkyou Undecided1502.

What do you guys think of the story so far? And what do you think about David? Tell me, i'll gladly accept your comments, i really want to get better at writing.

I close the book, and stand there for a few minutes. What did I just read? It can’t be true, can it? I know fey are real, so this book must be telling the truth. I nit my eyebrows together and try to organize my thoughts, first I know that the winter dorm are connected to fey. From what I read in the book the must be the fey themselves, but then what are the pixie creatures? There was no mention of them in the book. Second, I know that the winter dorm is most likely the people of the Winter King. That means that this school was made specifically for Winter, which is why it is called the winter dorm. If so than the other Kings don’t like this school, and the humans are caught in-between this, which brings me to my next question, why are humans in a school of fey? If this school is made to train winter fey, and I don’t know this for sure, then aren’t humans useless. 

I sight, I haven’t gotten anywhere with what I read. All that was in to book was history, and I don’t want history I want current issues. Like if the fey are planning an attack on humans, or if they have somehow infiltrated the American Government. I know I got mad at David earlier, but he is the only person I can ask from the winter dorm, he’s the only person I know from there.

I quickly sneak out of the library making sure no one see’s me. It is very quiet when I leave, and doesn’t feel right. I turn around and look behind me, “Who is there?” No one appears to be behind me so I continue on. I’m just being paranoid, that’s all. It is dark out now so I walk back to me dorm. I have used up a whole day, and my first day of school none the less. I do regret skipping, and swear to myself never to do it again.

“Forget about the fey before you learn to much, or we will have to kill you.” I look back to see a person disappear behind a tree. They were so quick I didn’t get to see who it was. No there wasn’t anyone there. It’s just my paranoia that’s making me see things. When I get back to my room I instantly fall asleep. Too much has happened today.

When I wake up again Trish is standing next to my bed glaring at me. It’s not the most pleasant way to wake up and scared the hell out of me. “Well, where were you yesterday.” She looks very mad at me, and has reason to be so. I can’t tell her what really happened. I hate lying so I tell her a have truth about how I came to a sudden realization about how this school is really strange, so I had to research it’s history in the library, quite suddenly, but came up with no results, because of the strange card catalogue. She didn’t buy it. I did however get her to leave it by asking what my punishment for skipping class was. This is yet to be determined and I have to wait till I talk to my teacher to find out.

Because of the rotating schedule I have math first today, which means I get to find out what Mrs. Williams has in store for me. When Trish and I get to the school building we are early. I’ll have to deal with Mrs. Williams eventually so I go to her classroom before classes start. Her door is open, and I see her staring out the window. “Mrs. Williams I am sorry for running out on your class yesterday.”

She jumps up like she was surprised by my voice, “Yes, of course, well since you are new here I’ll let you off easy, but you’ll have to tell me what made you run.” She looks strangely serious. 

It wouldn’t be good to tell her a lie not after what I did so I tell her about what I saw, “There was something outside the window that caught my attention. I thought it was an injured animal so I had to help it.” The last bit came out as a question, and she definitely wasn’t convinced.

“What do you know about what you saw?” 

“You mean Fey.” I try not to say it but it comes out. Mrs. Williams gets up and closes the door.

“What do you know?”

Stay calm, she’s could help figure this out with me, “Well, I know that the winter dorm is fey, and that they are the people of the Winter King.”

She stays quiet for a moment, “Don’t tell anyone you know this.” She walks out of the room. I am starting to get scared now. What will the fey do to me if they know I know? The bell rings and my classmates start to come into the room but Mrs. Williams doesn’t return. The office has to send in a sub for the class.

When it is finally over walk out of the class in order to find David, I know what my teacher told me but I have to know about the fey. The winter dorm class rooms are on the other side of the building, so I’ll have to find him after school, or during lunch. Lockers instead then, I still need to get to my next class.

“Hello Miss. Kiss,” In front of me is the blond girl who was with David in the circle. “I think we need to have a little talk about your use of the school’s library.” She corners me into the wall, “When a section is restricted you need to have permission to accesses it.”

Someone please help me, I silently beg in my head. She is getting closer to me and I don’t know what she will do. I close my eyes, and cringe. What will she do to me? I wait but nothing happens. I look up to see David standing next to me. “Are you ok?”

“Yes.” I hold my breath. Is he saving me?

“Jennifer, let me handle this.” I guess her name is Jennifer. If by let me handle this he is going to get rid of me rather than let her do it, then I’m not in a good position. I start to back away from him and prepare to run. His hand grabs my arm.

“I have to speak with you.”
