The vibration of Calliope's alarm run through the stillness of Arlowe room. As per usual, although it wasn't his alarm Arlowe still had to lean over the ebony haired woman to rid the annoyance of buzzing filling his ears. The cracking of his stiff limbs covering Calliope's ears. Like he did every morning, Arlowe would sit still in his spot on the bed and observe Calliope's beauty even if her hair was all fuzzed out from sleep and she didn't have her piercing ocean eyes on him, ''morning baby, how's that back looking, hmmm?'' Calliope asked groggily running her fingers down Arlowe's bruised and scarred back, watching as he flinched from the pain, ''oh baby boy does it hurt, hmm? Oh why don't you let me take care of it okay and you just go back to sleep okay angel.''
When talking about Arlowe, Calliope would often describe him as more submissive or meeker one in the relationship. It wasn't like she was wrong, Arlowe would listen to her every command like a child would its mother and when alone she would make his head fuzzy making it hard to concentrate especially when she complimented or praised him, ''oh there you go baby boy, I know it hurts but it'll feel all better in a bit okay.'' Calliope comforted, soothing a hand down Arlowe's back.
''okay.'' Arlowe whispered. The flaxen haired man had never been shy unless it was around Calliope, hell he was usually an outgoing, extremely hyperactive man around anyone else and he was always willing to have a chat with anyone, ''see and this is why I like you being close to me when you sleep at night baby, because look what happened when I wasn't look after you.'' Calliope uttered in his ear, slowly pushing herself out of bed, ''baby, i'm dropping you off today so get dressed.'' Calliope got greeted with a soft wide eyed look from Arlowe, ''don't worry sweet boy, I'll sort your wardrobe out for you. Now go eat.'' Calliope demanded watching Arlowe push his slippers on his feet.
Arlowe desperately wanted to do something for himself. To think for himself and pick his wardrobe out even but due to dating Calliope he knew that wasn't going to happen and he dreaded waking up every morning seeing what outfit Calliope had picked out for him. With buttered toast dangling from his mouth, Arlowe brushed past his dark haired girlfriend to see what she had picked out for him and surprise, surprise it was a white sweater vest decorated with baby pink love heart to top a blush pink button up followed by the same pair of jeans he always wore and baby pink converse, ''Arlowe, hurry up and stop dangling your food from your mouth. Its like i'm dating a bloody dog.''
'Well then stop treating me like a dog,' Arlowe thought to himself. With the way Calliope constantly dressed him, fed him and petted his head it felt like he was a dog. The blaring horn of Calliope's car urged him to move to quicker, ''Arlowe, fucking hurry up and move your ass to the car now,'' the blue eyed man covered his ears to block out the noise. Arlowe would say Calliope's car suited her perfectly it was dark, loud and perfect(ish) much like her, ''sweet boy, when I say you need to hurry up, you need to hurry up.'' Arlowe ducked his head down much like a disobedient dog, ''I'm sorry Callie.'' Arlowe uttered. Calliope's baby blue's almost filled with guilt, ''oh sweet boy I didn't mean to shout at you, I'm so sorry please look at me.''
Arlowe's ocean orbs caughts Calliope's, the raven haired woman grasping his chin, ''oh look at you, you look like your going to cry. I'm sorry my sweet boy, I'm so so sorry, I know you don't like it when people shout.'' Arlowe gently nuzzled his girlfriends hand hoping that would silence her, ''there you go sweet boy, calm down, you don't want to be nervous before work do you.''
Calliope waved her hand out the window as Arlowe gave her a weak wave back, ''bye Arlowe, have a good day at work.'' The man slowly began to walk towards the FBI building adjusting his cardigan on the shoulders. Jennifer Jareau was totally unware of the man turning the corner opposite to her, her eyes glazing over the glaring picture of her ex-boyfriend Will LaMontagne Jr with some dark haired woman. Hand tightly clutching the warm coffee cup until it flooded the rock hard body she bumped into, ''I am so sorry, I wasn't looking where I was going.'' JJ apologied now looking at the blond haired man in front of her.
Arlowe offered JJ a soft smile reaching in his bag to grab a tissue, ''don't worry about it, its no problem whatsoever. It happens to the best of us.'' JJ threw her coffee cup in the bin, ''again I am so sorry about the mess.'' Arlowe pulled his bag back over his shoulder, ''honestly don't worry about it, but I was wondering if you could help me.'' the man paused, ''I've just transferred, I'm from the forensic team in London but they moved me over. I need help finding an Aaron Hotchner's office.''
''That's no problem, I can take you right there.'' JJ walked in front of the man, ''its a pleasure finally meeting you, oh Garcia's going to love you especially since she's been after prince William's phone number for ages and Spence is going to love that he finally has a literature lover to talk to.''
''what did you say your name was again?'' JJ asked
''Arlowe, Arlowe Evangeline.''
''Like a dog. Well Arlowe its a pleasure to meet you I'm Jennifer but you can call me JJ.''
