Arlowe gently thrummed his fingertips against the car window as the SUV pulled out of the Cassidy family driveway. The flaxen haired man stared out of the window, his eyes glistening with water that was soon going to drop from them. JJ picked up on how unusually silent Arlowe was being, ''Arlowe, you alright? You've been really quiet since you spoke to Mrs Cassidy.'' JJ recognised an unfamiliar emotion in Arlowe's eyes. One she had only seen once before. Sadness. Arlowe spun to face the blonde woman, ''her child has gone missing and someone may've used a lost dog as a ruse to lure the children and I'm just think about how my sister would've done the same thing, I just miss her so much.'' Water ran down Arlowe's cheek, reddening his pale skin as they moved.

''Arlowe, honey. What happened to your sister was not your fault, okay?'' JJ pulled the SUV over, rubbing a soothing thumb over Arlowe's hand, ''wait a minute, will you ring Hotch for me? I might have an idea.'' Arlowe's London accent faintly rang. A soft buzzing sound filled the car as the blonde duo waited for the monotonous man to pick up.

''hello, Hotch I've got a theory. When I was talking to Mrs Cassidy she said that Theo would never leave his daily routine unless a strange approached him with an injured animal, so I was thinking what if we aren't looking for a doctor but a vet. It would make sense, because they would have access to unshelted animals which often look injured as well as having access to an animal anaesthetic called medetomidine. The anesthetic is not harmful to animals but any more than 20mg that is used on a human adults will cause them to die and anymore than 10-15mg that is used on a human child will cause death but it won't look like murder when it appears on the coroner's report it will appear like high blood pressure or a heart attack also it wouldn't turn up on the tox screen.'' Arlowe panted out, the car filled with silence as the three agents on the other side of the phone processed the information.

''well, well, well sunshine you've done it again.'' Derek laughed as the echo of flipping paper filled the room, ''JJ, Evangeline meet us back at the station we could use your help sorting through these files.'' Hotch hung up the phone as JJ and Arlowe pulled back out onto the road. Arlowe smiled to himself, happy that someone was finally proud of him, afterall no one he used to know complimented him on the amazing work and projects he had completed over the 15 years he worked with them.

As Arlowe trailed behind JJ into the police station he received strange looks. Was it his pink converse? Or maybe it was the fact he had a cat wearing a bow on the front of his jumper, ''would 'ya all quit staring at the man? He's here to do a job not to be gawked at.'' a western accent rang which ushered Arlowe to move faster across the station, ''i'll guess that your Agent Jareau and your doc'or Evangeline, its a pleasure to have you both here with us today.'' the sheriff drawled out as the blonde duo came into view, going to shake Arlowe's hand.

"We're sorry to be here on such unpleasant circumstances, but we're here to offer our help as much as we can." Arlowe shook the man's hand, slowly moving to eye to forensic file over Derek's shoulder, ''woah, hello sunshine. When did you get here?'' Arlowe held up five fingers to suggest five minutes as he was to preoccupied to speak before leaning to pick up the file Derek was reading, ''sunshine, can I have my file back please?''

Craddling the file like a baby, Arlowe took a pen to the map that had been placed on the whiteboard, ''since he lives here, the timing's would be perfect...meaning he would be a more probable unsub than the other's and given his history with nannies then it would all click.'' Arlowe muttered to himself, ''what is he doing?'' Spencer whispered, ''who know's pretty boy, just let him work his forensic magic.'' Derek murmered, ''I think George Montgomery is our unsub considering how close he lives to the crime scenes and that he works part - time, as well as his violent history with nannies and take a guess what he does as a job.'' Arlowe spun on his heels, ''vet assistant.'' Arlowe continued.

''sheriff, agent Hotchner wanted me to tell you that you should gather up your men because we think we have our guy.'' Arlowe rushed out, sprinting towards the man. His converse scuffing the floor. Arlowe sat in the briefing room alone. His copy of To Kill a Mockingbird resting on the table in front of him next to his cup of chamomile tea, ''agent Evangeline, do you mind me asking why aren't you out there with the rest of the agents?'' a southern accent filled Arlowe's ears, ''well because I preferred to do the more scientific, paper based things and also I haven't got a gun license or the qualifications to go out into the field.'' Arlowe offered a smile to the man dressed in beige as he answered.

''hey Agent Jareau, tell Agent Evangeline it would've been a nice little reunion if i got to see him again afterall I put his sister through.'' George darkly laughed as he was shoved past the blue eyed woman.

''take him away.''
