" Aaah! " I screamed in pain, as I woke up. The hospital room was vacant,just me in there. I was given the best room, Perks of being the owner's daughter.

I held the head rest, and tried to balance on the floor, but I ended up falling to the ground.

I hated pity, but I had no choice.

" HELP! HELP! Please ! " Soon, Nurses and a female doctor, rushed in, helping me back to the bed.

" Zaina Gambo, During your accident..
You severely damaged your spinal cord, and you know the implication. "

I grabbed the hospital telephone, and called Mukhtar.

" Hello ? "

" Mukhtar ! " I burst into tears.

He took a seat beside me, and waited for a while, before asking.

It felt weird, I mean Ayman would have asked more time. Why am I thinking about him, now.

He got up saying.

" I need to go, I'm late for work, bye. "

He didn't even wait, before he left.
I don't blame him, I was crippled.

After a while,  a new doctor walked in, and discharged me, after prescribing some drugs.

" Doctor, You know my dad is not around. Can I just stay in the Hospital. "

" Yes Ma'am, but the Hospital isn't a good place to heal, alongside medicinal Care, you need Social and emotional care, to heal your wounds. That is why, I sent Nurse Rahina to go with you.

" Nurse What ? "

" Is there any problem ? "
" Oh, No problem. "

Yes there was, Nurse Rahina had tried to seduce my dad so many times, especially when mom wasn't around. He couldn't just fire her, her dad helped my dad survive from a car accident, so he feels indebted. I hated her so much, and made it clear to her, now I was to stay with her till my parents come back.

Later, the driver came, and with the help of Rahina and other Nurses, I got in the car, and was to be taken home, with Rahina in with me.

She kept glaring at me, and I felt so uncomfortable. Finally, we reached home, and she brought out the wheel chair from the car, and I slowly got outside the car, and sat in it, as I was taken inside the house. I felt so Vulnerable.

I was in my room, watching Anupamaa on my laptop, when a knock came through, and I wheeled myself to the door, and opened it.

It was Rahina.

" What are you doing in my room ? " I asked, and she ignored me. Before I could lock the door, she stirred the wheel chair to the stairs, and I screamed the Help's name.

" Maimu ! "

" I sent her on an errand. So, you are alone. "

I screamed the driver's name.

" Yakubu ! "

Who do you think drove Maimu ?

" Isah ! " I screamed.

" You fool. I sent him on an errand as well. You see, we are the only ones here, and I could just push you down the stairs, and everyone would take it as an accident. You are the only reason stopping me from getting married to your father. That your Old mother, only conceived a girl, and if you are dead, he'll be forced to get a quick wife to inherit all his wealth, and I am always available. "

" You are dead today ! " She cackled, and pushed me down the stairs, with every time my head hit a step, I was injured, I was almost unconscious, when I saw Ayman in front of me, as he caught me, before I hit the floor.

" Zaina ! " He called, and yelled again.
" ISAH ! Catch her. "

Isah ran through the door, and caught Rahina. Ayman boarded me into his car, and drove me to the hospital.
