Chapter 2

Sam and Corey were in the living room playing rocket league after they got back from the party that colby was supposed to go to. "Hey Sam have you seen Colby yet?" Corey looked over at Sam wondering why he hasn't heard or seen Colby since they got back. "No, he probably went to the gym knowing him." Sam looked at Corey and looked back at the tv as they play rocket league.
"Yo it's been like 3 hours, where's Colby?" Corey started walking around the house asking people if they've seen Colby. "ELTON!" Corey yelled waiting for Elton to show up. "What?" Elton looks at Corey confused like something happened. "Have you seen Colby?" Corey asked Elton and Elton answers back with "no I thought he went to the party?" Elton looked confused. "What in the actual fuck! Where is he!" Corey called Colby as he answered. "Dude where are you Colby! I swear to god if you went out there by yourself Colby. Sam is going to be mad at you!" Corey exclaimed. "Dude something bad happened, like really bad." Colby says while his voice is shaking. "Dude what's wrong?! What happened are you ok!?" Corey starts getting worried. "Yeah man I'm ok, but she isn't. I just dropped her off at her house and now all I can do is worry!" Colby said as he parked the car outside the house and he hangs up. "Colby what happened!" Corey ran up to him and stayed quiet. "Cmon let's go outside so Sam doesn't hear me." Colby says as they go outside in the back and sit beside the pool. "I didn't know.. I was going to run into this problem or this girl. She's so beautiful and her friend left her to suffer alone Corey.. ALONE!" Colby states as he gets frantic and in a panic mood. "Woah woah woah, slow down what?! A girl was out there with her friend and her so called friend left her?" Corey says in shock. "Yes Corey! I was walking down a path and I heard a girls scream and I went towards it to check it out, there was a path from where she was dragged in there and she was bleeding everywhere and cut from head to toe and covered in bruises! Whatever did that to her, wanted her dead." Colby states looking at Corey as he bounces his leg up and down at a rapid pace. "Can you get ahold of her? She can stay here with us to make sure she's safe Colby." Corey asks Colby as he grabs the keys and heads out.
After they get back with Kayla, Sam comes outside as he has an unexplainable look on his face. "Colby. What happened to her?! Did you go where we told you not to Colby..?" Sam looks at him confused. "Yeah I did Sam, now you know how I feel when you went to the basement without us!" Colby got angry, "dude no don't even bring that up let's not argue cause she needs our help and she's obviously been through hell and back." Corey looks at Sam and back at Kayla as they bring her inside. "What happened to her Colby?" Sam asked. "I'll tell you later if she wants to talk about it, if not that's fine." Colby says as he looks at her. "No.. it's fine you can tell him.." Kayla says in a slow voice. "Are you sure Kayla, if you don't want to tell him I will or he just won't be told." Colby double checks with her. "Yeah I'm sure..." she looks at him and smiles after leaning her head on his shoulder while they walk to her room.
The next morning she woke up and she was all alone, the boys had gone out to the gym and forgot that Kayla was there. Kayla then continued to walk around as Elton comes out of the garage and into the kitchen. "Hey! Who are you and what are you doing here?" Elton asks her in an aggressive tone. "Oh sorry! I'm Kayla, Colby brought me here after what happened." Elton forgot that Colby had brought her home. "I'm sorry Kayla, do you feel ok?" Elton asked before getting a smirk on his face. "Yeah I'm fine, why are you smirking?" She asks. "Prank wars is going on and you just met Colby and I'm hoping Corey and Sam." He mentioned the other guys and the prank wars and explained what it was. "Yeah! I'm up for a prank." She says in excitement. "Ok Kayla, so I'm gonna need you to put fake blood on your wrists and make it look like you're crying blood and I need to to lay on the floor infront of the living room tv and I'm gonna put candles around you ok. To make it look like something attached to you from where Colby found you." He explains the whole deal. "Yeah let's do it!" She grabs the fake blood and puts it in her eyes and blinks so it falls down and looks real, she then proceeds to make it looks like a cut with sfx makeup and put blood in it with a plastic shard. She proceeds to lay down on the rug and placed candles around.
Elton calls Corey, "COREY! Something's wrong with Kayla!" Elton gets worried and drops the phone shaking Kayla and yelling at her. "Dude.. Colby! We gotta leave" Corey says rushing the guys around. "What do you mean Corey we just got here!" Colby say's aggravated. "Look, something is wrong with Kayla and Elton doesn't know what!" Corey says and they all rush into the car and drive home. The gym was about 10 minutes away so it wasn't to far, considering it was morning the traffic wasn't to heavy so it wasn't as bad.
They all arrive and walk in with Kayla on the floor shaking and mumbling something that cannot be understood. Colby slammed through the doors and ran to the living room and tried to get Kayla's attention. "KAYLA! Kayla wake up!!" Colby violently shakes her and shakes her until she stops making noises. "Colby wtf is wrong with her bro!" Corey puts his hands on his head and backs up really worried as he pulls out his phone, "I'm calling the cops she needs help!" Corey says as he walks outside and Elton catches up with him, "Corey stop don't call the cops just yet!" Elton says while grabbing Corey's arm and bringing him in. "KAYLA WAKE UP!" Sam and Colby both started to worry about her.
As soon as Corey walked up to her and tried to get her to stop, Kayla started shaking and mumbling again. "Dude wtf, is she possessed?!" Corey backs up in fear. Kayla keeps mumbling and as she stops shaking again she mumbles in a scratchy tone "wel...welcome... to.. prank wars!" She makes the sentence more clear as she jumps back up and laughs as Sam, Colby, and Corey have a relieved look on their face. "Oh my god bro, Elton did you know about this?!" Corey asks Elton, "yeah I did, I set it up with Kayla's help. That's what y'all get for dying cirka's coat pink bitches!" He says in a funny mood.
After awhile Colby left and came back with another girl named Kat. Kayla didn't know that Kat was Sam's girlfriend and Kayla had a crush for Colby. Once she watched them go upstairs, Kayla had assumed that they was going to his bedroom to "hangout". She proceeded to call her mom to pick her up at the gas station down the road. She had put on a pullover and sweats and put her hands in her pockets and covered her face with her hair.
Her mom had picked her up and dropped her off at her house with no conversation the 30 minutes it took to get there. She didn't let nobody know she had left because it was in the middle of the night and everyone had fallen asleep cause it was a crazy day for everybody.
"Kayla! Get up I gotta show you something!" Colby got up and walked down the stairs with a hoodie he used to wear all the time. He was going to give it to her until she left. Colby has yet to notice, he goes around the house asking if anyone had seen Kayla. "Hey guys have you all seen Kayla in the house anywhere?" He asks everyone in the kitchen. No one knew where she was. "This isn't another prank is it.?!" He gets angry and panicked. "Colby this isn't a prank I have no idea where she is." He says calmly trying to keep Colby's composure.
Colby then goes to the room she was staying in and he realizes she had left. "COREY!" Colby shouts as Corey finds his way running up the steps to her bedroom as he finds Colby standing in her room confused. "Bro where is she? Did she leave.?" Corey asked looking around. "She did. I didn't do anything I don't know why she's.." Colby came to realization as to why she left. "Shit..." Colby ran downstairs and grabbed the keys. "Colby wait! What are you doing what happened?!" Corey runs after him and out the door. "Corey! She seen Kat with me and thought she was my girlfriend! She likes me bro!" Colby told Corey as he got in the car and left to go get her.
Colby arrives at her house and knocks for what felt like 10 minutes. "Kayla! It's me, Colby! Let me explain!" After Colby was knocking for awhile and talking to her through the door with no acknowledgment she finally comes to the door and opens it with a year stained face. "Kayla.. I'm sorry." Colby looks at her as she has tears falling down her face. "Why, you didn't do anything wrong.. it's me. I should've known you had a girlfriend." She said as her face saddens. "That's the thing, I don't have a girlfriend." Colby told her as she let him in and he wipes her face. "See I done ruined it for you." She exclaimed. "No you didn't Kayla. I promise. Kat is Sam's girlfriend. Not mine. And even if she wasn't his girlfriend, I wouldn't want her. I want someone else." He tells her giving her direct eye contact. "Then why don't you tell the girl that you want that instead of me.." she looks at Colby as she gets upset and her breath starts hitching. "Because Kayla. I love you." He looks at her as she looks up at him with a smile on her face and her cheeks turn red. "Is this a prank.." she gets suspicious. "No Kayla, it's not." He grabs her waist and pulls her in for a hug then they pull back from it as Colby brushes her hair back and grabs her hand as they walk back to the car and drive back to the house. "Also, Kayla I was gonna give you this hoodie I've had for a long time. It's special to me, and your special to me. I want you to have it and don't lose it. Or I will hurt you." He giggles toward the end kidding around with her as she puts on the hoodie and smiles.
     It was getting late and everyone had went back to sleep after a long day had taken place and parties happening around and editing videos, Colby was laying on the couch watching a movie by himself. He had himself wrapped in a soft blanket with 3 pillows around him. A pillow behind his head, one behind his shoulders, and one in front him. The lights were off and Colby couldn't hear over the tv being loud. Kayla decided to come down for a snack or a drink but instead she found Colby alone watching a movie. She decided to go watch it with him even though it was halfway over. She had sat on the opposite end and not even 30 minutes later she was passed out. Colby realized she was asleep after he tried talking to her. He went over to her and put the blankets and pillows he was using and gave her a soft spot to lay on and cover up with. He proceeded to kiss her forehead and tell her goodnight after he turned the tv down but left it playing and headed up the stairs for bed.
