"Another day in school." Deborah muttered, as she stepped into the school building. Her heart abruptly skipped. Strange.

Just as she was about to step into the crowded quad of the school, she saw James walking to her with a wave to indicate he was indeed really walking towards her.

'Demure! Cool! Demure! Cool!' she freaked internally.

Why does he have to be so gorgeous? On some occasion, she asked herself if he was real, because his beauty was more of divine! She meant, gold eyes! They held so much emotions, spreading it to his entire face.  Those eyes really made people look at him twice.

"Hey, Debbie." He smiled widely, like he suddenly lost control of it.
           Also, perfect teeth!
Her heart was beating fast now, almost becoming audible.
'Jeez! do I really have to be so anxious almost all the time?!' she internally yelled.

"Hi, James." she smiled. She masked the chaos behind that smile so well. Demure outside, rattled inside.

"We're friends now." he said with a look of accomplishment on his perfect face, and a blush slowly creeping around his face.

Deborah immediately sensed his anxiety and she almost scoffed.
James? Anxious in front of her? Great!

'oh please come on, don't belittle yourself.' she internally reminded herself.

But on a second note. Like seriously? James was anxious around her? How cute!

"Of course, I'm really glad we're friends." she said, and she sensed his anxiety diminishing.

"Do you mind if we hang out in the library later today? As friends."

"I'll be delighted." Deborah clasped her hands.

"Alright, thank you, I'll text you." He said walking away. "Bye." He said, on looking back at her before finally disappearing amidst the crowd.

"Bye, James." Of course, they had exchanged numbers during their short Instagram conversation.

"Oh my freaking gosh!" Rebecca literally appeared in front of Deborah, acting all jumpy and giggly.

"Yeah, alert! James and I are now officially -"

"Couples?! My goodness!" Rebecca interrupted and jumped up, as if she just heard that mathematics went into extinct.

"Friends, Reb, officially FRIENDS!" Deborah rolled her eyes, walking into the Quad.

"It won't be too long before you guys are couples, James is just trying to follow procedure, friendship first you know -"

        "But-"

"-and before you start having second thoughts, James doesn't look or ACT or should I just say he isn't someone that'll break your heart." Rebecca said walking along with Deborah.

"And how would you know that? It isn't written on the forehead." Deborah sat on one of the many benches in the large quad.

"But it is written in his actions. Action speaks louder. A guy can have "The best guy" written on his wide forehead and still acts like the devil's messager." Rebecca said with her arms crossed.

"It was a freaking deja vu." Deborah smiled dreamily. "Do you believe in soul mates meeting at a young age?"

Rebecca leaned backward for a second and chuckled.
"Do you think James is your soul mate?"
