As Deborah and Rebecca walked into the lunch court, Rebecca shot the crew a piercing glare.
"I can go put them in their place if you want." Rebecca said, trying to control her brewing anger."No, Reb, thank you." Deborah replied. "You don't have to, Remember what the Bible says, Vengeance is of the Lord, do not pay evil with evil." They settled at their usual spot, setting their lunch on the table.
"I can't believe Dora gave her the youghurt and watch that-" she refrained herself from saying the curse word, Deborah was always reminding her that they were not permitted to say them as they were Christians. "...mess you up with it." She gritted her teeth in anger.
"It's okay Reb, it really is. I shouldn't have gone to talk to Dora. Whatever, just let it go." Deborah brought out a fresh apple from her bag. "Hey, Dave." She called, and tossed him the apple. He mouthed "thank you" in return, he was two tables away with his friends.
Rebecca watched the crew, throwing mocking glances at Deborah and laughing quietly.
"They're making jest of you." Rebecca tapped her left foot, furiously."Just take your eyes off them, Reb."Deborah sighed, Rebecca was always ready to fight for her.
"I can't take this anymore." She stood abruptly, startling Deborah.
"Where are you going to?!" Deborah almost yelled, watching Rebecca storm towards the crew.
"You bathed my friend with youghurt!" Rebecca bellowed at Amber, her face turning red with anger. Amber sat back comfortably and crossed her arms, not at all moved by Rebecca's accusation.
"Yeah, I did, what are you going to do about it?" Amber said.
"Leave this place now!" Molly ordered.
"Or what?!" Rebecca fired at Molly, now everyone in the cafeteria was watching.
"No, Molly, let her talk, just sit." Amber said, and Molly reluctantly sat.
"How dare you do that to my friend?! What gut?! What fortitude?! DO YOU HAVE?!" Rebecca lowered a bit, so she can look at Amber straight in the eyes. "You really think you're the only one that can be crazy in this school?! Huh?!" Every students was watching, intensively. Dave just sat dumb strucked, he knew how crazy his sister can be, he looked at Deborah to get a clue of what was really going on.
"What's going on?" He mouthed, when her eyes met his.
"Later!" She mouthed back.
"You have the guts to bathe my friend with some freaking ice cold youghurt?!"
Dave looked at Deborah again and rose a brow, Deborah nodded in response."Yeah, what are you going to do about it? Call your mommy? Report me to the principal and get me suspended?"
Rebecca breathed in and out deeply, she scanned the cafeteria and walked to a table, taking mighty steps, a boy had a can of soup, Rebecca abruptly grabbed the can and replaced it with a few dollars, she marched back to Amber. All eyes anticipated her next move, as they all watched in silence.
And out of nowhere, she emptied the whole can on Amber, and splashed the leftover on Dora who whimpered, as everyone eyes widened with gasps and "Ooooos" escaping their mouths."That's what you get for messing up with my FRIEND!"
"Whaaaaaat!!!" Amber gave a ear piercing scream as she gradually stood, looking disgusted. Molly sprung and was about to hit Rebecca when a hand stopped her, holding her wrist firmly.
