The sky's slowly turning yellow, as the sun begins it's descent below the horizon. The chilly, dark blue sky soon rises over the valley as two figures ascends a familiar set of stairs leading to the almighty Jade Palace, home of the Dragon Warrior, the Furious Five, and Grandmaster Shifu.
These two figures were none other than the Dragon Warrior himself and Master Tigress.
You could hear the duo talking from a fair distance away.
"That noodle-soup never ceases to amaze my taste buds!" Po exclaimed. "How about you Ti?
"Same, Mr. Ping really spices mine up to a perfect degree."
"Hahah! I know right! Dad's so amazing, honestly, I've literally NEVER seen him fail his cooking."
"He's truly one of a kind, if I say so myself." Tigress said and smiled.
Po looked at her as they were walking up the stairs, she looked down at the steps, he noticed her smile. Oh how he loved seeing her smile. It was as if something lightened him up. A candle. A candle growing stronger and stronger as she's smiling.
"Hey, I wonder what Master Shifu wanted to say to us, you know, before we headed down to eat, together.."
"It was not a date." she remarked.
"Yeah, I know, I know, we were just out of food so we headed down to eat, I know. Anywaysss, do you wonder what he had to say?" Po asked, looking at the steps which felt like they extended each time they walked on it.
"I don't know, to be honest. Maybe it's a mission, or some extra chore?"
"I can only wonder. I hope it's a mission though."
"No, not this time of the year." Tigress said and looked at the horizon. The sky was clear, for now. One could only imagine how fast a clear sky could turn into the worst storm imaginable.
"Why not?" Po asked.
"Because the journey is horrible during winters, you cannot even imagine what I have gone through during them."
"Like..?"
She sighed. "Snowstorms, Po. Snowstorms."
"Ah, you got me there." Po admitted. "What's so horrible about them?"
"The coldness, darkness, and your vision is extremely limited."
"Ah, okay. Well, let's not hope for a winter mission then." Po said.
"actually, I still want a winter mission." Po whispered, quiet enough for himself to hear. And someone else who just happened to have better hearing than him.
"What did you just sa-"
"NOTHING!" Po interrupted._____ _____ _____ _____ _____
"You and Po will be going on a mission." Master Shifu said.
Tigress rolled her eyes. Po inwardly squealed due to his excitement.
"Hahah!!" Po joked, you don't always get your wishes through, Ti!"
"Whatever." she coldly replied.
Shortly after, the duo left the palace, heading for the barracks to get some stuff before heading off.
Po currently stood in his room looking after his backpack.
"I swear I left it somewhere..." Po muttered and walked over to his dresser. He opened the first box, only to find his backpack.
"What? Did I seriously leave my backpack in my dresser?" Po asked himself. "Of course I did, silly me."
He stuffed the bag with dumplings, a flint, and some more dumplings. Suddenly, knocking could be heard on his door. "Are you ready yet?" Tigress asked through the paper door.
