Regulus was admiring the morning sun on James' skin. They had the curtains open because Sirius and Remus were both in the hospital ward. Regulus loved how the morning sun reflected off James' dark skin. He liked how his chest looked with the sunlight on it. They never wore shirts to bed. It felt unnecessary after the night Regulus got drunk.

James slowly opened his eyes, looking at him. "Hi, Love," James laughed. Regulus smiled at him. "You look beautiful," James complimented, his voice rough from sleep.

"I can say the same for you, Jamie," Regulus whispered. He placed a soft kiss on James' nose. He earned a small laugh for it.

"Do you wanna get up? Or should we wait for the others? We don't have classes today," James questioned. Regulus didn't even have to think about his answer.

"I don't wanna get up. You're warm," he whined slightly. James laughed quietly, once again.

"Of course, Love." James brought Regulus closer to his chest. They sat there for a while enjoying each other's presence. "Are you sore from last night?"

"Yeah a little, I still don't know how you guys dragged me into doing that," Regulus laughed. James gave him a soft smile.

"Because you love us," James teased, to which Regulus nodded in agreement. "Roll over, Reg, let me rub your back," James offered. Regulus did as James said. He shivered when James' hands gently traced his mark. "I love this so much." Regulus suppressed a gasp when James gently kissed in between his shoulder blades.

James used his hand to massage his shoulders and the back of his neck. "I love you, James," Regulus admitted. He felt James' breath fan across his back in a laugh.

"I love you too, Reggie. I always will," James whispered. He placed another kiss to the back of Regulus' neck. James' hands began massaging around his spine.

Butterflies fluttered in his stomach when James hands went particularly lower on his back. He tried not to let James see a reaction though, scared of how he'd take it.

He froze when James' breath fanned over his neck, "I think I've come up with a new nickname. Want to hear it?" Regulus nodded quickly in response. "Aphrodite, the most beautiful out of all the gods." James placed a kiss on the side of his neck after talking.

"I like it," Regulus admitted. He wasn't allowed much knowledge on Greek gods. He couldn't find many books on it, and his parents said it was useless to learn. He knew she was beautiful though, that was common knowledge.

"Better," James teased before wrapping his arms around Regulus' waist. Regulus giggled slightly when James began pressing light kisses along the back of his neck and his spine. "Beautiful, Aphrodite, you're beautiful." Regulus felt a blush burst onto his face.

"Stop," Regulus squirmed under the praise. James just laughed and continued. His hands loosened as he went further down his back. They rested on Regulus' sides.

"I wish I could see you shirtless all the time, just to see this mark, Aphrodite." James kissed along the antlers drawn on his skin. "It makes me so happy seeing it," James admitted.

Regulus smiled, "I like it even more now that I know who it's for." He felt James press a kiss to his shoulder while smiling.

"I like mine better now too. I used to be obsessed with the idea of a soulmate. I think I was right to be; this is amazing," James whispered, continuing to leave small kisses across his back. Regulus laughed lightly.

"It used to scare me; I think it still might, if I'm being honest. It's amazing, but it's still a relationship. They scare the fuck out of me," Regulus admitted. He felt James pause briefly.
