Damn I haven't updated this in what feels like years. Well I'm back and sat in a library which I didn't even know existed!! Ah well now I know. Well as it's taken forever for me to update in going to post 2 chapters!! Yes that's right as an apology for just leaving you wondering where I went.

The journey home seemed to take forever as Klaus drove Kayla back home with his hybrid army.

"Are we there yet" whined Kayla for the 10th time.

Klaus' knuckles clenched on the wheel until they turned white. A flicker of a smirk flashed onto her face as she knew it was winding him up.

After all he had drove her to insanity being with him for the past few weeks so now it was payback.

"No love" he growled. A small flutter in her chest as he said the word love. He knew it had an effect on her. "And you know that".

"Maybe" chucked Kayla," or maybe I have no sense of direction".

Klaus rolled his eyes and sighed, shaking his head at the werewolf.

"So" started Kayla but Klaus quickly cut her off.

"Don't say it" he snapped.

Kayla let out a light hearted chuckle and shook her head. "Don't be so impatient klausy".

Klaus glared at her and she smirked back proud of her new nickname.

"So what I was going to say was why we are going back" continued Kayla." You could keep me with you; make me kill an innocent then turn me into your freak show army".

"Firstly we are going back for Elena's blood to make more of my freak show army" said Klaus. "And I wouldn't force you to do anything like that".

Klaus paused and then looked at her," you're as pure as it gets Kayla. I wouldn't make you kill anyone, it would simply destroy you".

"Gee thanks" said Kayla, coldly." But an psycho hybrid can go around killing my sister".

"I need her blood" said Klaus, exasperated.

"For what?' Spat Kayla," to create hybrids so your not alone anymore".

" I making hybrids because I can okay" growled Klaus.

They carried on in a heated angered silence. Kayla stared outside the window and sighed. She didn't get Klaus; she knew there was a part of him that cared. She had seen it; just a small glimmer of humanity.

Elena stood in front of the school lost in thought. On her left was Bonnie and on her right was Caroline. They all had a miserable look set upon their faces.

"This should feel more overpowering" said Caroline with false enthusiasm. "This is our senior year".

"Well prank night the other week was a bust" said Bonnie.

"Kayla is with Klaus good knows where" said Elena blankly.

"Fine the start to our senior year sucks" admitted Caroline.

"Jeremy has been seeing his dead ex-girlfriends all summer" confessed Bonnie.

"Me and matt broke up" sighed Caroline.

"This is our anniversary" said Elena, her eyes threatening to spill tears. Caroline and Bonnie looked at her sympathetically. "Technically we met on the first day of school".

"Elena in so sorry" said Caroline, looking over at her friend.

"Don't Care" said Elena," if I even think about what he has become for a second I think I'm going to fall apart".
