Hi everyone, it's been a while huh?
Almost a year since my last post here, time flies so fast. A lot has changed in that year so I'm just gonna do a little recap.
So it's almost a year since my dad died, it's weird sometimes that he's gone but nothing to change that.
I'm almost officially 1 year on the waitlist for gender-affirming care, 2 more to go. But it's going to be worth right?
I officially moved out of the house 6 months ago. I now live in a van on the driveway of some good friends I properly met after my father's death. so that's great! I finally know what it's like to have a safe living space haha.
now I live in a safe living place I've been feeling healthier mentally and physically so that's awesome.
I'm graduating in 6 months which is weird to say I'm officially a nurse in 6 months. right now I'm just finishing everything in my studies and it's been doing okay.
Oh. and I changed my name everywhere I could. not legally on my birth certificate, but where i can I changed it. I now go by Lyron.
My best friends/housemates are getting married next year and I get to be their best man. which is exciting and scary at the same time given that I only know them for about a year now and we already have such a close bond, it's weird. like we knew each other for so much longer but we don't.
