Ravonna Renslayer stepped out of the elevator and was immediately met with Mobius. "What'd they say? Are you okay?" He asked, approaching her.

"No, no, Mobius. I'm not. Under the best of circumstances, it's jarring to stand before the Time-Keepers." She whispered, looking around to see that no one would listen to their conversation. "And this is not the best of circumstances."

"Yeah, but they can't blame you." The two stopped in another hallway where no one could hear them. "They can and do. The Variant was right here. What if she got to the Time-Keepers?" Renslayer spoke, a hint of fear in her voice.

"I know. But she didn't." Mobius tried to assure her. "No. But she got away. Along with the Variant that I got you permission to bring in here. And your sister, Mobius!"

He looked down for a quick second. He may not always have shown it, but his sister was very important to him. They haven't got much in common, but they were still siblings.

"Do you have any idea how impossible it is to keep the timeline stable? The Time-Keepers are all that stand between us and full-scale calamity." "And I'm glad they're on our side. But if they want me to find Loki, Hestia and the Variant, I need access to Hunter C-20." He said.

"I'm sorry, but that's impossible."

Sylvie had dragged Hestia away from Shuroo and the two sat further away on some stones. The agent stared at the sky while Sylvie couldn't turn her gaze from the side-profile of Hestia.

"The view is beautiful, isn't it?"

She spoke up.

"It is." Sylvie replied, not taking her eyes off the human, who suddenly slowly turned to look at her. But the goddess didn't look away, instead kept her eyes on her face, which flushed a bit red.

"How did you get that scar?" The shorter-haired women asked, directing to the little scar above her left eyebrow, which she explored some hours before.

"Case went wrong, got pretty beaten up." Hestia mumbled, looking down at her hands now with which she started fiddling. A soft and cold hand laid itself on hers, and she stopped her actions, turning to look up at Sylvie, who still hadn't moved her gaze.

"Stop doing that." The goddess spoke, trying to be cold again, which caused Hestia to let out a little chuckle.

"You don't have to act so cold, Sylvie. I know that deep inside," she laid the finger from her other hand, which wasn't holding Sylvie's, on her chest, right where her heart laid. "You are a big softy. You just have to start opening up again. Maybe not with me, bu-" "No." She cut the human off, causing her to raise an eyebrow.

"I want to start opening up to you."

Hestia blushed like hell.

Some time later, after the two just sat in silence, Loki finally found them and stepped in front of the two, turning his head down. Hestia gave him a small smile and moved from her stone to sit onto Sylvie's so the god could sit down.

Hestia was always an understanding woman. She may be quiet and didn't say much, but she always was able to understand. She could communicate and look through others without them even having to say anything.

"I'm sorry." Loki spoke up and Hestia felt a hand grab hers, and looked up to Sylvie who was just staring at the sky, causing a little smile to form onto the human's face.

The goddess nodded a bit, a sad look on her face, remembering the words from Hestia from earlier. Maybe opening up wouldn't hurt.

"I remember Asgard." She spoke up and Hestia could feel the grip around her hand tightening. "Not much, but I remember. My home, my people, my life.

The universe wants to break free, so it manifests chaos. Like me being born the Goddess of Mischief. And as soon as that created a big enough detour from the Sacred Timeline, the TVA showed up, erased my reality, and took me prisoner."

The hate for the TVA was clear in her voice, Hestia gulped and looked down, the memories of her Nexus-Event flooding through her mind again. She and Mobius never got an explanation to why or how they caused the Nexus-Event, it just happened.

"I was just a child." Sylvie added, her voice now a little whisper. "I escaped, stole a TemPad and I ran for a long, long time, which really sucked. Everywhere and every-when I went, it caused a nexus-event. Sent up a smoke flare. Because I'm not supposed to exist."

Hestia slowly turned to the goddess, and she could see that tried not to cry. Not in front of Loki. She and Hestia shared a wound. A scar, which maybe healed after some time, but it was still there. Always.

"Until, eventually, I figured out where to hide. And so that's where I grew up, the ends of a thousand worlds. Now... that's where I'll die."

The three turned to look at the destroyed, yet beautiful sky. The moon was just about to crash into them, not long and it would all be black.
