The reward for this mission was substantial—20,000 gold coins. Azael knew this was an opportunity not to be squandered, and he contemplated how to execute it efficiently.
Turning to Drac, he sought guidance. "What's the best plan, Drac?"
Drac's voice resonated in his thoughts, offering a well-thought-out strategy. "Begin by surveilling Drorrerath's house during the day. Observe his habits, his guards, and the layout of his estate. Come nightfall, when everyone sleeps, infiltrate his residence and eliminate him silently. Leave no trace of your presence."
Azael nodded, recognizing the wisdom in Drac's words. The element of surprise and stealth would be his greatest allies in this mission. He knew that it wasn't merely about taking a life but also about delivering justice and ensuring that the corrupt did not thrive at the expense of the innocent.
