However, as the divine knights chanted their spell, an unexpected presence disrupted their concentration. Azael, the seemingly low-class demon, appeared above them, his heavily wounded form emanating an intense dark power. Zophiel, astonished, questioned Azael's intrusion.

Azael, with a sinister smirk, unleashed his demonic aura, enveloping the entire sky in darkness. Zophiel, though taken aback, stood his ground, ready for whatever the demon lord had in store. Azael, with a chilling confidence, declared, "I will not let you escape this."

With a merciless massacre, Azael released a dark light that shot through the foreheads of all divine knights, leaving them paralyzed and defenseless. Zophiel, the only one untouched, questioned Azael's motives. Azael responded with a sinister tone, "Don't expect your death to be painless."

Azael conjured a shadowy figure of a four-headed snake, known as the Curse Bite. The snake figures coiled around Zophiel's limbs and bit into his flesh, causing decay and root-like tendrils to emerge. Zophiel, in agony, demanded answers. Azael's reply echoed with a dark certainty, "I am just a demon, your worst nightmare."

A powerful barrier surrounded Zophiel, preventing any escape. Inside the barrier, Zophiel endured a relentless onslaught of a million slashes. As the torture intensified, Zophiel, facing the inevitable, chose to end his own life to escape the excruciating pain. Azael, with a final strike, allowed Zophiel's release.

Asmodeus and Lucifer, witnessing the brutal display, acknowledged Azael as their lord. The celestial battlefield, once a stage of cosmic conflict, now bore witness to the unrestrained wrath of Azael, the emerging demon lord, as he stood triumphant over the fallen divine forces.
