' hey.' millie's voice came through juliette's phone as she turned the street to her apartment building.

' hi!' juliette replied happily, ' i'm so excited to see you oh my god.'

' i know! me too! i've missed you too much.' millie giggled, ' where abouts are you?'

' i'm just around the corner from my apartment building, what about you?'

' i'm like five minutes away in a taxi, and also...'

' yes...'

' louis is in here with me. i thought he could help set up as well?' millie hesitantly admitted.

' oh, yeah. that's cool.' jules nodded, even though millie couldn't see her through the phone, ' so, i'll see you soon?'

' yes, i can't wait!'

' love you!'

' love you more!'

juliette hung up the phone and opened the door to her apartment building before taking the lift up to her floor and entering her flat. straight away, she flicked on the lights and smiled to herself. as much as she liked america, it was always nice to be back at home in london.

after she quickly unpacked a few of her clothes, she heard the doorbell ring and ran to open it, practically shaking from excitement.

the second she opened the door, arms wrapped around her.

' millie!' juliette grinned, hugging the girl back.

' oh my god, i missed you!' millie exclaimed, pulling out of the hug, her hands resting on jules' shoulders, ' me and louis brought coffee.'

juliette became aware of the taller presence who was standing beside millie and holding a tray of three coffees.

' hey.' louis smiled. juliette had to slightly crane up her neck to look at him due to their height difference. millie took the coffee's out of louis' hands, though he didn't notice as he kept his eyes on the brunette in front of him the whole time.
jules stepped forward to give him a short hug, which he reciprocated.

' it's really good to see you again.' louis said, his hand scratching the back of his neck after they both pulled away from the embrace.

' you too.' juliette nodded, ' gosh, i haven't seen you since we were like 11.'

' that must be right.' louis chuckled.

' can you two stop flirting so that we can get ready for this party?' millie interrupted.
