CHAPTER 6 irl

JULIETTE'S fingers wrapped around her mug of hot chocolate as she sat across from a small table from louis, who was still admiring her uncle's café.
' this place is so cool. i wish my uncle worked somewhere like this, mines a mechanic and he always stinks of petrol.' louis spoke up.
jules giggled and nodded, ' yeah, it's really nice. my uncle's annoying though.'
' he seems nice.' louis chuckled.
juliette hummed, ' nice, but very annoying. he reports everything about me to my mum who's in paris at the moment. no doubt he's texting her now and telling her you're here with me.'
' does your mum live in paris?' louis asked curiously, and juliette nodded in response.
' yeah, after my parents got divorced she moved there and my dad went to america. i stayed with her for a bit a few months ago but i haven't visited for a while. i might stay over for christmas, maybe.' she thought aloud.
' i've always wanted to visit paris at christmas time.' louis told her, flinching slightly when she gasped excitedly and grabbed his hand from across the table.
' oh my god! you should come and stay in paris this christmas! it would be so fun!'
louis opened his mouth, but no words left it, causing her to continue excitedly inviting him.
' we can do all the touristy things, like we could climb the eiffel tower, and go to the louvre and then we could go further out to versailles! oh please louis! it would be so amazing! we could even get those really tacky ' i heart paris ' shirts and be matching! '
louis chuckled, ' maybe, i'll have to check whether i'm working on set or not first though.'
juliette grinned and nodded, ' of course. my mum would be so excited to see you again after all these years.'
' god, i remember her bringing those chocolate cookies to set when we were younger, they were so good.' louis smiled at the memory, ' she was always so nice to me.'
' yeah, probably because i spoke about you all the time. i had a big fat crush on you.' jules laughed.
' you're kidding.' louis' eyes widened at this, ' i was like head over heels for you.'
