I need you more (luffy x nami)

Our love grows stronger

The miso ramen was good. I definitely needed it, Luffy was done way before I was finished with my food. "Okay ur done, Right Nami?!" Luffy says. He got bored for waiting too long, "Yes, Luffy. I will just pay and we can go.."

We walk out of the ramen shop. It was still early and honestly I didn't want to go back to the ship. Because.. I wanted to spend time with Luffy. I know it might be a bit selfish, but I can't help it. "Where should we go next, Nami?" Luffy turns to face me.

I can't believe it!! Luffy is asking me where we should go?! That never happened before.. "I am not sure.. hmm.." I start thinking to myself. I wanted somewhere which was suitable for me and Luffy, for us. I wasn't sure on what to pick, but while I was thinking. Something in the bush near us started moving and making sounds... a kitten?

It was a little kitten, in fact a really adorable one! It was meowing loudly. It must be hungry.. "awhh this little guy must be hungry and tired" I said, "Luffy, Lets go get it some milk!"

As I pet the cute kitty, I hold it carefully and me and Luffy go look for a sealer. "excuse me sir! Do you have any milk?"  I asked, "Of course, young lady!". After buying some milk, I hand the it to Luffy. "Pour some in my hands" I told him. "Mhmm..okay"  Luffy proceeds to pour some of it in my hands. I lower my hands to the kitty's level, "here you go, little guy."

As the kitty starts drinking desperately, I look at it heart-broken. I can't stand seeing poor animals suffer. I guess I really do have a soft spot for animals. After the kitten was done drinking, I started petting it a bit, it seemed to have warmed up to me a little now. I am glad, but me and Luffy got to head back, because it is getting late. I get up and I signal to Luffy that we should head back, only to feel something cling onto my foot. It was the kitty! 

"Oh no, Now it wont leave me alone." I sigh, I look at the kitty. I didn't want to leave it alone with nobody to take care of it, but I couldn't take it with me, right? "We should take it with us, nami" Luffy kneels down to pet it only to bitten. "Seems like it still doesn't trust you, Luffy" I chuckle. Luffy pouts then says "Why does she like you and not me" . I shrug it off, "anyways, we can't take him with us. A kitten on a ship would be a pain" I tell Luffy. "Pleaseeee nami"

I look at both of Luffy and the little adorable kitten, they both look so cute. Luffy is giving me his puppy eyes. I sigh then I lift up the kitten, "We will just take her till we sail off this island" I say in defeat. "YESSS YUPPIE" Luffy says while jumping and I could swear I saw the kitten jump a bit too..

We took the kitty back to the ship, the crew quickly gathered around us. "huh?? did you adopt a kitty?" "Why did you bring this kitty?" "what is this" "what an interesting surprise!" "taking care of animals is just a pain" all these questions and comments were rained down on us the moment we stepped foot on the ship. "Everyone, this kitty wouldn't let me go so I decided that it would be okay if it stayed with us a bit." I announced to everyone, "A small kitty wont do any harm to us" Robin says.

I felt relieved , Nobody had spoken up so I thought they were against the idea. It would have been really embarrassing for me. "I mean the kitty is cute, I wouldn't mind" Usopp scratches the back of his head. "me too!" chopper adds. Everybody seems to not mind, they are just a bit shocked because they never thought we had take in a pet. 

I was so stirred up with the commotion that I didn't realize that the kitty wasn't on my arms no more. I looked around and I saw chopper chuckling and talking to the kitten, what a cute duo. "Oh is that so?" chopper giggles, "Mhm? what is it, chopper?"  I ask. "The kitty thinks you are her mother." Chopper smiles. "awh. That is so adorable" I come closer to the kitty and I lean down to pet it. "She also thinks Luffy is her father."
