Mom finally left. She is so full of it with the crap about handbooks and ice cream. It makes me furious that she pretends that everything is all right.
I wish I were like all the other girls. Go to sleepovers no matter who was going, popular, rich, and pretty. I didn't feel like any of those things. I sighed and got up from where I was sitting on my bed and stumbled over to the big full-length mirror next to my dresser. I looked at myself and grimaced. I looked terrible. My nose was so big and my legs the same. I just hated how my body looked.
My phone went off. It was Mom. She was on her way home with ice cream. Moose Tracks. I threw my phone on my bed and sat back down on it. I loathed how oblivious she was. Why couldn't she just understand?
