Bonecrusher worked Kenzie over for what felt like hours.  While there, she was injected with the juice so he could stay there longer.

"This ought to teach you how to treat the hospitality of our Queen."  He told her before kicking her in the stomach.  Three guards stood outside the cell door the whole time she was being beaten by Bonecrusher.

At one point, Kenzie decided to give in.  She couldn't go through this anymore.  And what was the use?  No one was looking for her.  Her heart hurt more than her bones.  She tried to tell Bonecrusher to stop, that she conceded, but he didn't give her the chance.  He just kept hitting her, lifting and dropping her, and so much more.

He just kept going.  Blood dribbled out of her mouth as someone came in and gave her more juice.  She tried to lift her head up and tell him, but she was already being lifted into the air by his glamour.  She looked at him, nothing was in his eyes, and she could see her reflection, nothing was in hers.

Bonecrusher dropped her to the ground.  The snapping in her just set it off.  Kenzie's mind wiped itself clear.  A strange feeling ran through her whole being.  She began to laugh, scarily.  It was the laugh of someone who was over the edge of sanity, pushed into crazy.

She heard Titania ask her why she laughed.  Kenzie just continued to laugh as she walked in.

"Stop laughing and answer me!"  She yelled.  Kenzie rolled over.

"Of course my Queen!"  She continued to laugh, but however, the words struck Titania oddly.  She smiled down at Kenzie and then to Bonecrusher.

"Good work.  If she ever begins to stray, just bring her back down here.  Find her a room once she shuts up."  The last part she said to the guards by the door of the cell.  Kenzie listened as Titania's heels clicked away while she laughed on.

She didn't see when Bonecrusher left, but she didn't care.  By the time she had stopped laughing, she fell asleep.

*hours later*

Kenzie woke back up in a bed.  She didn't notice at first.  She stayed curled up in the comfy blankets.  The mattress underneath her was so wonderful it was like she was in the clouds above.  A knock on her door made Kenzie sit up.

"Who is it?"  She asked.

"It's me, Deliah."

"Oh, sorry.  Come in."

Deliah came in and shut the door behind her.  "How are you feeling?"

"Great.  Why did you ask that so oddly?"

"No reason.  Just asking."  Deliah played with her hands and then stood straighter.  "Titania wants to see you at her throne immediately."

"Gah," Kenzie breathed as she fell back on the bed.  "I'm too tired.  Do I have to go now?"

"It would be for the best if you did."

"Fine.  Let me get dressed."

"There are clothes at the foot of your bed that she would like you to wear.  I'll wait outside."  Deliah quickly left the room and shut the door behind her.

Kenzie stood and walked over to the end of the bed, which was a good three feet from where her feet were.  There was a suit like a soldier of the Summer court would wear.  However, it was sized to fit her perfectly.  Kenzie had to admit to herself that she looked badass.  She had just finished tying the boots with the thins vine laces when Deliah opened the door again.

"I should tell you something."

"What?"

"Titania is acting, odd."

"How so?  My Queen is not odd."

Deliah's face went white, "It's true." She whispered.

"What's true?"

"Nothing.  Just come with me please.  Titania does not like to be kept waiting."

Kenzie stood and followed Deliah out of her room and down the hallway.  All the other fey gave her the same white faced look as Deliah had done before.  Was there something wrong with her going to see her Queen?  Kenzie would have to ask once she got to Titania.
