Baby Girl 🩷

Author's POV:

Haein had tears in his eyes, he finally got to see her after 9 months of waiting. She was finally in front of him—his daughter. Tears couldn't stop streaming down. He took her carefully in his hands. Holding her firmly but not grabbing too hard, like she was so fragile that she would break if he held her too hard.

He very gently placed a soft kiss on her forehead. She was pretty. Just like her mom. Small round face, snow white skin, pink colored lips, small nose that was slightly red. She did look like them. Just like them. She was precious—their Everything.

Haein had to hand the baby girl back to the doctor to perform a few more tests. After that, he rushed into Jisoo's ward. Jisoo was lying there talking to the nurse. She turned around to look at him. As happy as he was. He walked towards her and engulfed her in a hug. They were on cloud nine. Their happiness knew no bounds.

"Did you see her?" Jisoo asked.

"Yes. Yes. I did. She is pretty, just like you."

"Isn't she? It's in the genes" she said chuckling.

Haein placed kisses on Jisoo's head.

"Finally Jisoo. Finally. I can't tell you how happy I am! We are completed now. I have never been so happy Jisoo. I love you J. I love you." Haein whispered while trying to hold back his tears.

"Oppa! It's not the time to cry now." She said while pulling back from the hug.
"Don't cry, Hun. It's our time to be happy. I love you too."

Just then there was a knock on the door, the doctor came in.

"Firstly congratulations to the couple. The tests are all good. You will be discharged after 3 days." He smiled.

Jisoo's POV:

The house was decorated all over with lavender and pastel blue colored balloons. There was a big welcome sign hung up on the board. Returning home felt like heaven. Even though my hospital ward was comfortable I was still longing to come home. We had a few sleepless nights when our little princess just couldn't stop crying. But the way Haein handled the situation every time was surprising. whenever he looked at her he used to tear up. It was not hard to tell how much Haein loves her, maybe more than he loves me. Who knows. Am I mad about it? Yes, a teeny tiny bit. But after all, it's our daughter, Our princess, Our whole world.

"OMG UNNIE! She is so adorable." Jennie and Rosie screamed. The three of them congratulated us. Lisa was carrying our baby girl in her hands. Jennie and Rosie couldn't stop taking pictures of her. Haein came and stood by my side.

"It feels completed, doesn't it?"

"Yes, it does oppa. We are completed. This feels perfect!"

"Unnie, what's her name?" Lisa asked us. Hmmm. That was one aspect we didn't think about.

"Oppa, What do you think?"

"Uhm. Let me think. What about Bora, or Hae - Jin?" he said while scrathing his nape.

"Uhm no, not it. What about Min-jun or uhm, Do-hyun?" countered Lisa.

"Garam, Ji- hae? or maybe, maybe Soo-ah!" exclaimed Haein.

"I like the last one. It's pretty just like her" Rosie said while pointing towards our baby. Jennie and Lisa agreed. It was a pretty name. 

"I love it too! Soo - ah it is!" I said.

Everyone smiled. Jennie came and hugged me. She has supported me and Haein a lot in these past months. All three of them took utmost care of me.

"Unnie you should rest now. We shall leave." 

I nodded my head. Lisa handed Soo-ah to Haein.

"Thanks for your help with the decoration," Haein said to the girls.

Days, weeks, and months passed. We hadn't been more happy in our lives. Even though Haein kept up with his work he made sure that he would make enough time for us. The girls were always there to help me and were always by my side. Haein and my mom had come to stay with us. Everything was going perfectly fine. 

Haein always came home and played with Soo-ah. Sometimes he didn't sleep at all. He was taking care of me and our girl. He definitely was tired but never showed it once. I can't thank god enough for giving me so much in my life. Even though sometimes it was hard to cope up with everything the supportive surroundings made it all very easy. We asked God for a beautiful baby. But we were sent a goddess. That's our baby girl.
