Are we really just friends? I had started to ask this question to myself a lot these days. I just couldn't stop thinking about this. Especially after what Jennie had said a few days back.
"Just Friends? My FOOT unnie! Just Friends don't talk so lovingly for hours at night. Just Friends don't go on cute, romantic dates and hangouts every other week. Just Friends don't worry about eachother so damn much that sometimes they stop taking care of themselves! Unnie, Stop making these excuses now. Your so called hangouts are not just meet ups! Maybe you two are too afraid to openly confess, but atleast be true to your own self. YOU GUYS ARE NOT JUST FRIENDS unnie! Get that straight!"
Well Jennie was a person who can always read me like an open book. I couldn't hide my feelings and emotions from her no matter what. She has always been my best girl. But the thought still lingers... are we just friends.
If I answer this question really honestly then No. I don't think we are. Jennie is right we both are just scared to openly confess it. How long can we just play it off ? Not for long. Either one of us has to do something and come forward, initiate this whole thing. I don't think Haein will do it. He never talks about anything like this or never talks on any sensitive topic unless I want to. So I will do it. I will take a step forward and finally do what I should have done a long time ago.
Author's POV:
With Jennie's help Jisoo finally decided to confess her love for Haein and set up a cute little date. Jennie was happy that she was finally accepting her true feelings. They decided that beach would be an ideal spot for this occasion. Jisoo had called Haein and had asked him to come meet her at the location. After some time the SetUp was finally done. She had brought a tent and had decorated the surrounding area with a few candles and pillows. She had kept some food items on the table in between.

She felt proud of herself after she looked at her work. Now only Haein's arrival was pending. Jisoo was feeling jittery. Was she ready to do this? But now there is no going back. This is Happening. It has to happen!
Finally Jisoo saw Haein coming In her direction. He was wearing a black shirt with his sleeves rolled up and a simple denim jeans. Even In such a basic attire Jisoo was totally fascinated by him. He came closer.
"Omg Jisoo! You- you did this? Wow! This looks so beautiful."
"I am glad you like it Oppa! Let's have a seat. BTW oppa you are looking really handsome."
This did something to Haein. Any compliment from Jisoo Summoned a zoo inside him. His ears turned red. Jisoo had poured 2 glasses of wine for them. Along with that Jisoo had bought a red velvet cake which perfectly suited the vibe and the theme. She had also baked some cookies.
Jisoo had no clue how to initiate this conversation but she had to do it somehow!
"Oppa. Uhm..Jennie was asking me the other day..you know... whether... whether you have a new drama coming up?" Jisoo cursed herself! That was definitely not what she wanted to mean.
"I mean yeah. There are a few things lined up." There was an akward tension hanging between them. Haein started to sense it as well. This had never happened before. Jisoo was not liking it. It was clear that Haein was feeling uncomfortable. So finally Jisoo decided to drop the question.
"Oppa. Can I ask you something. Answer it truthfully okay?"
"Yeah! What's up? What's going on?"
"Do you...do you think we are just friends?" The question definitely took Haein by surprise. Jisoo felt him stiffen. Shit? Was it to early to ask this? How was he going to reply?
"Well. I don't think so." He muttered.
"What was that?"
"No. I don't think so. And moreover I don't want to keep it that way. I never brought this topic up because I had no clue how you would react. But I want to take our relationship forward. I DONT want to be just friends." He let out a big sigh. There was silence and then Jisoo lept at him and hugged him.
"Omg omg omg. Thank you. I was so nervous. I had no clue how you would react!"
They stayed like that for a while. Then Haein pulled apart.
"So miss Kim Jisoo. What should we call ourselves? Hmm let me think. Bestfriends!" Haein said smirking and recieved a smack on his arm from Jisoo.
"Yah Oppa! Cut short your jokes!"
"Then what will we call ourselves huh?" Haein said still teasing her. Jisoo leaned in and placed a peck on Haein's lips. Pulling back after a few seconds.
"What do you think now?"
"Well I don't know about us but I can definitely call you Kissoo!" This earned another yell from Jisoo and Haein started laughing. Jisoo pouted and looked away. Haein pulled her closer.
"Okay then. I'll call you mine? MY girlfriend? You like that?" He said grinning.
"Yes I do My BOYFRIEND!" Jisoo giggled. And Haein went for another kiss.

The dating news Seemed so fake! I really don't think there was anything going on between them 😕😭. Plus they broke up before 3 months or so? I am so sure this was YG's attempt to hide or cover up for BPs disbanding rumours.
