A new feeling

I can't believe it. After all this time, and all the effort it took to see him again, this is what I get. I said yes to his plan and what did he do? He just smiled and said, "Very well then. Pack your bags. We will leave after your term exams." at that I snapped and stood in front of him stopping him in his tracks

"Wow!! Dad, you didn't even hug me or ask how I've been. Instead, you demanded that I spy for you. Is that all you care about? Do you even care about me? We've been apart for almost a year, and this is how you treat me? I was hoping that this time things would be different, that we could reconnect, but it seems like it's all about the mission, all about the job."

He glanced in my direction as if he was about to speak. Suddenly, a sleek black car pulled up beside us and he turned away with an apologetic expression. He strode towards the car, ready to climb inside, but then hesitated and looked back at me. His eyes met mine and he said,

"I love you, sugar."

Tears welled up in my eyes as I whispered, "I don't think so, Dad. I don't think so"

He went in and closed the door.

I wasn't in the mood to go back to my dorm, so I went to the park and sat on a swing. I was overwhelmed with emotions and started to tear up and cry.

Suddenly, I noticed a shadow lurking in the shadows. I looked back and saw Levon approaching me. "Hey, are you alright Ess?" he asked as he sat down beside me.

Levon POV

I was just walking around as I couldn't sleep when I heard some noises coming from the nearby park I went in and saw Esmia what was she doing here she should be in her dorm room Even though I should also be in my dorm but I am not maybe even she couldn't sleep but then why would she cry?

"Hey, are you alright Ess?"I asked as I sat down beside her.

"Why are you here? You should be in your dorm room, not here?" she asked, wiping the tears off her face. "I could ask you the same question," I replied with sass.

I then went close to her and knelt down to her and hugged her.

Esmia POV

He hugged me and I flinched but eased into his hug soon enough I started crying in his arms a few minutes after.

He held me tight and I sobbed till I couldn't anymore."Feeling better?" he questioned

"-sniff- yeah-sniff-thank you so-sniff-"

We stayed like that for a while ___________________________________

Hello everyone sorry for not updating for so long Also I will be writing a NEW STORY and you all can read it by new year

I know the chapter is short but please bare with me I have to study for my upcoming exam
