It was a few days later and we were all at Monica and Rachels apartment, I had brought a pie with me that Joey had dug into in a matter of mere moments. "Let it go Ross." Joey had pointed his fork at the man who was currently staring at a photo in his wallet. "Yeah, well, you didn't know Chi Chi." Ross pointed at the photo he was looking at while Joey rolled his eyes before taking another bite of the pie. "Do you all promise?" Monica had shouted from inside her room and there was a chorus of "yes'" and "we promise." Monica had then walked out of her room and over to the window where Chandler was outside smoking. He made a cross my heart motion as Monica asked him the same question, the thunder rolled as Monica walked away from the window. Rain had started to pour as Chandler knocked on the window as I tried to hide my smirk. "You can come in, but your little filter friend cannot." I stood in front of the window, arms crossed across my chest with an eyebrow raised. Chandlers shoulders sagged as he grabbed the lid from the grill that was outside and held it above his head as I shook mine. I turned away from the window as Phoebe had angrily walked into the apartment.
"Hi Phoebe." Joey got no answer as she stormed to the couch and proceeded to read the letter in her hand. "'Dear Ms. Buffay, thank you for calling attention to our error. We have credited your account with $500. We're sorry for the inconvenience, and hope you'll accept this football phone," The blonde pulls the phone out of her bag. "as our free gift' Do you believe this?!? Now I have $1000and a football phone." Phoebe had placed both the letter and the phone down on the coffee table. "What bank is this?" Rachel had walked over and picked up the letter to read it as the door bell buzzed. "Hey, it's him." Monica placed her drink down on the kitchen table and made her way to the intercom. "Who is it?"
"Alan." The voice through the intercom said as Joey yelled for his roommate to let him know that Alan had arrived. "Okay, please be good, please." Monica begged the group as I went to go grab a towel for the sopping wet Chandler. The brunette man ran both hands through his hair as I handed him the fluffy towel. "Thanks" He muttered as I felt my face heat up as there was a knock at the door. "Hi Alan, this is everybody." Monica had introduced Alan, "Everybody this is Alan." Alan had a short beard and slightly long hair which suited him nicely. "Hi." Alan said nervously and we all said our hello's back. "I've heard scho much about all you guysch." Alan spoke with a fake lisp and everybody lost it.
"Thanks, I'll call you tomorrow. Goodnight." Monica said her goodbyes to Alan as I whispered to Rachel "They look cute." The light brunette nodded as the two of us were squeezed on the big seat. "Okay. Okay, let's let the Alan-bashing begin." Monica had walked back over to the living area after closing the door. "Who's gonna take the first shot, hmm?" None of us spoke a word. "Come on!" We all looked at each other before Ross spoke up. "I'll go." Monica crossed her arms and nodded her head. "Let's start with the way he kept picking at... You know, I, I'm sorry. I can't do this. Can't do it. We loved him." Which shook Monica, "Wait, wait, wait a minute! We're talking about someone I'm going out with." As the other's were talking about how much they liked Alan, I had quietly said my goodbye's as I had to get to the office early as the deadline for the project was getting closer.

As I was making my way to the stairs of the building after I left my apartment I ran into Chandler and nearly spilled my coffee on him as my folder of notes fell from my other hand. "Oh my God, Chandler are you okay?" We had both kneeled own to pick up the scattered papers. "I'm good are you okay?" He had helped me up after making sure I had all my papers. "Yeah, I am so sorry, I wasn't looking."
"Ali, it's okay." The brunette had placed a hand on my shoulder. "Hey do you wanna join us for softball later today?"
"Oh I would, but I have a project for work and probably wont be getting out till late." Chandler nodded as he held the front door to the building open. "What a gentleman."
