Chapter 15

(Liu's POV)

"Raven's gone." That's the last thing he said before coming after me. I screamed and someone pulled me out of the way.

"Get out of the way, kid!" He said and I looked at the boys friend who was just laughing at us. I was scared... I don't know who that is but it definitely isn't my boyfriend. He would never try to hurt me.

"Raven!" I screamed when another boy tackled him to the ground. Raven just chuckled and flipped them over. Raven pinned him to the ground and said

"You're next." 

"Tj! Get out of there!" Tj screamed when Raven put his hands around his neck.

"Stay here." The boy said to me and pounced on Raven. "Get off of him you psycho!" I wanted to cry... Once he got Raven off of Tj the rest of them ran out the door leaving Raven and I. I screamed when he jumped on me and I started crying.

"Raven, stop!" I yelled.

"Raven's gone." He said again. He started choking me and I was gasping for breath.

I was about to pass out when someone pulled Raven off of me.

"Get the hell off of him!" Jeff said.

Raven went after Jeff who pulled out his knife.

"Jeff, no!" I screamed.

"He's tried to kill you, I should skin this fucker alive!" Jeff growled.

"It's not Raven!" I yelled. Jeff looked into Raven's eyes and Raven smirked. He tackled Jeff and took his knife. He was about to stab him when Slenderman grabbed Raven.

"Enough!" Slenderman yelled. Everyone shut up and Slenderman touched Raven. Raven went limp in Slenderman's arms. I got up and ran over to them.

"If it wasn't Raven, who was it?" Jeff said. I bit my lip and felt a tear roll down my cheek.

"No idea... he just kept saying Raven's gone and he tried to kill everyone." I said.

"He lost control of his sanity." Slenderman said. I looked at him and then at Raven. Raven looked paler than usual and he just looked tired. I touched his head and he felt cold.

"So Raven's really gone?" I whispered. Slenderman nodded sadly.

"I'm afraid so..." He said. I let a sob escape my lips and Jeff hugged me.

"Shhh, Liu." He said.

"But I loved him!" I said.

"I know you did..." Jeff said. That's when we heard police sirens and I panicked

"They're going to take him away!" I said. Slenderman shook his head and they all started running to the exit. I followed them through the woods and to the mansion.

"Masky, unlock the door." Slenderman said. Masky nodded and opened the door. Slenderman set Raven on the couch and I went over to him.

"What did you do to him?" I asked.

"I knocked him out cold without the pain." He said. I nodded and took his hand in mine. He didn't even stir... I sighed and put my face in my hands.

"What are you going to do with him?" I whispered.

"Well when he wakes up we're going to find out which of his voices were controlling him. Do you know what made him snap?" Slenderman said. I shrugged.

"Sort of... they said he was that psycho who killed his parents. That's when he started choking the guy." I said.

"Okay so we know the memory of his parents triggered it." Slenderman said.

I was about to say something when I heard Raven mumble something. He sat up really fast and looked around in panic. His eyes landed on me and he pulled his legs up to his chest and buried his face in them.

"Oh my god..." He whispered.

"Raven!" I said and sat down next to him.

"Get away from me..." He cried.

"What?" I whispered, hurt.

"I don't want to hurt you again... how could I do that?!" He seemed angry now. "The one person who loves me and I try to kill them..."

"Raven, it wasn't you..." I said.

"But I still tried to kill you... even if it wasn't me, you're still not safe with me." I bit my lip and saw tears roll down his face.

"Who was it?" I asked.

"It was John, one of the voices. All I remeber is blacking out and not having control over my body." He took a shaky breath. "How'd I get here?"

"I knocked you out cold and carried you here. I'm actually quite shocked you have your sanity back." Slenderman said.

"What do you mean?" Raven asked.

"Well, I've never seen a person regain their sanity without medication. With the exception of Jeff of course." Raven looked thoughtful for a moment.

"I need to get arrested." He said. All of us looked at him in shock.

"What?! Are you crazy?!" I yelled.

"Obviously, but I need to get back to the asylum so I can have the right medication." He said and stood up. I stood up too and pulled him back.

"There's no way I can let you do that." I said. He sighed and took my face in his hands.

"I'm doing this because I love you..." He said while looking into my eyes. I bit my lip and said

"Okay..." He gave me a reassuring smile and kissed my cheek.

"I love you Liu, don't worry. I'll see you again." I nodded and said

"I love you too." He gave me one last kiss before walking out the door, leaving me feeling broken and worried.

(Raven's pov)

I walked out of the woods and to the arcade, which had multiple police cars around it. I walked up behind a cop and tapped his shoulder. He turned around and his eyes widened. "You're the guy who were looking for!" He grabbed me and said "You have the right to remain silent." He started to read me my rights while pinning me to a police car. I hissed as he put the handcuffs on tightly.

"Ouch! Don't do it so hard!" I said. He slammed me up against the car again and said

"Quiet!" I bit my lip and he put me in the car. I stared out the window as he drove us to the police station. I bit my lip to keep from crying. I won't see Liu again until I'm out...
