Different Worlds (STRAY KIDS)

Chapter 4

After introductions everyone sat around the living room getting to know each other. Dae learned what each of the positions in the group and what each member does. He was really interested in 3racha and how they produce everything for the group. They mentioned their new ambassador titles for different brands,Hyunjin and Felix mainly so they could have Dae’s attention on them for just for a minute. Dae enjoyed learning more about the guys his little brother was always around and the stuff that they do, call him over protective. The only time Dae really knew about his brother recently was when they won an award at a recent award show for music and sent him a congratulations text so he was happy to hear about more exciting moments his little brother had lately.

In return everyone learned about what Dae had been up to lately. They learned about him becoming the captain of Paris Saint-Germain and the South Korean National Team, got him third Ballon d’Or, fourth top scorer trophy, became an Adidas ambassador, South Korea Ambassador, and Louis Vuitton Ambassador. They also learned about the sad moments of Dae’s recent season which was having the other best members of his team get injured leaving him to shoulder the weight of the team getting the championships they had worked all season for. Everyone felt bad about him having to take on that much pressure.

Chan felt bad because he knew how it felt since he also feels so much pressure being the leader. Seungmin, Lee Know, Changbin, Han, and I.N. all felt bad because they could see how tired he was and how much in need he was for a break. Felix and Hyunjin however had to both hold themselves back from hugging the older male as tight as they could to help relieve his stress.

The group soon got back onto happier topics as they ordered lunch and sat around eating, enjoying each other’s company. Throughout the hours they spent together Felix, Hyunjin, and Dae stole glances at each other when they thought the other wasn’t looking, sometimes getting caught leading to them blushing and looking away quickly. Dae ended up staying at the dorm with the group for lunch and dinner but sadly had to take his leave shortly after dinner due to having early for his workout as well as press and meetings the next morning. Everybody was sad to see him go, sharing hugs and promises to meet up soon before Dae made his way downstairs to get into the blacked out SUV to head back to his apartment for the night.

After Dae left Stray Kids couldn’t stop talking about how cool he was. Seungmin listened to his bandmates with happiness as they talked about the stuff they had in common with him instead of how he bought their lunch and dinner and how famous he was. After a little while Chan turned to Seungmin to ask the one question he feared they would ask, “Seungmin, your brother is so cool. How come you kept him away for so long?” Hearing the question everyone else turned to him also. Seungmin just let out a sigh before answering, “Well, I know you guys would never take advantage of my relationship with Dae but I have had a lot of people try to get close to my family and I for  lot of my life because of Dae becoming a big deal in soccer at a really young age. I just wanted you guys to treat me normal for as long as possible just in case.” he said looking down at his lap. “We would never take advantage of you Seungmin but I get it, can’t be too careful with stuff like that especially if it happened in the past.” Chan says before hugging Seungmin, the rest joining one by one while saying words of agreement.
