Ding
"Eungyeol please come to the police station, the landlady is causing trouble again and I don't have an interpreter"
As soon as I got the text from my dad, I quickly ran to the police station.
Gosh, that ahjumma. I'm tired of her, she's always causing trouble
"Ok I'll be there Dad 😊" I replied quickly, my eyes fixed on my phone, remembering the terrible incident that had happened causing the ahjumma to kick us out
It was her son's fault basically-
Bump
A stranger accidentally bumped into me, I can see their stuff dropping. Oh shit
"I'm sorry I was daydreaming I didn't see you-" Just then I saw the girl I had been dreaming about all the time since our interaction.
I was utterly mesmerized by her face. Her eyes sparkled with warmth, her cheeks red like a spring rose, leaving me in awe of her beauty.
But why is she crying? And why does she look pretty doing it?
A quick worry washed through me "Are you okay--" as soon as I asked her the question, a sudden tear escaped her eyes
"Damnit I don't know! I don't even know the reason I exist in this fucking messed-up world!"
The girl suddenly shouted but I was still looking at her with mixed emotions.
she then continued to silently apologise for taking out her anger on me "Sorry I don't know what has taken over me" She quickly walked away after picking up her snacks.
Oh, don't be.
"Gosh, it breaks my heart to see her cry," I find myself reflecting on our first encounter.
[Flashback]

I was just strolling down the road, looking for a spot to start my busking routine after finishing up my studies. Out of the blue, this stunning lady rushes towards me and accidentally bumps into me
She slips, almost falling to her knees, but lucky for both of us, I manage to catch her just in time. We share a quick glance before she grabs my wrist, urging me to run along with her.
I'm taken aback by the urgency, and she's surprisingly quick with those small legs of hers. Luckily, I managed to keep up.
Glancing back, I can't help but wonder what on earth this beautiful lady is running from. Then, I spot a few police officers and dogs chasing her down.
"What the heck!" Why is she dragging dogs into whatever mess she's in? Just then I spot a hiding place, I guide her, now holding her arms, toward the little spot I'd noticed.
It's a tight squeeze, barely fitting both my shoulders, but it's our best shot.
I let out a breath of relief, not even realizing she was standing right in front of me. The close distance escapes my notice.
Opening my eyes, I realize our close proximity, genuinely shocked, and unconsciously holding my breath.
I completely forget how breathtakingly beautiful she is.
Both of us catch our breaths from the run, and as she looks up at me, it seems like she, too, has momentarily stopped breathing.
Our eyes lock. The girl acknowledged our proximity and a blush crept up her face. Yet, I maintain the contact, occasionally stealing glances at her lips.

After the heated chase subsided, I decided to treat her to ice cream as she sat on a bench.
"Here's your ice cream," I handed her the treat and took a seat on the bench next to her.
"I wonder, what crime did you commit that got you chased down by the police?" I questioned, gazing into her eyes.
"Oh, wait, that's what you think is happening?" She turned her head toward me and let out a loud chuckle.
"Yeah, how am I supposed to know if you ain't telling me?" I defended.
"Hahaha, okay, I'll tell you what happened," she said as she opened the plastic on her ice cream.
"So basically, I was at the dog café, and I saw a dog staring at the dog food near the counter. So, I went out the gate to get it for them, but I forgot to close the gate. At the same time, a person opened the entrance door." She spoke as if she were rapping.
"And then all the dogs scattered all over the dog café, and some of them even had time to leave. Then the owner asked me to help them catch the dogs. Of course, I agreed because it was somewhat my fault too." Taking deep breaths, she continued.
"But the dog that left the café was a scary one, and it started to chase me. So, that's what happened, and the police officers were just the ones I went past, trying to help me," she finished her story.
I was dumbfounded and laughed at the amusing story. She joined laughing with me.

As I was playing my usual guitar routine, I glanced up to look at the crowds and saw the familiar girl I have been reminiscing about all year. And since then I was waiting for her near the dog café, just because
She stole my heart.
[End of flashback]
She looks so pretty smiling
Now she got me wondering what had happened to her again
This girl is such a troublemaker.
