"Malia, just here me out."

I continue storming my way through the media floor, avoiding everyone, back to my office.
Huxley's heavy footsteps sound off behind me instantly making my eyes roll.

"Go to hell, Huxley."

He finally catches up, and graces me with that cocky smile when he rounds my body. A twinkle in those piercing blue eyes.

"Oh, c'mon. You seriously aren't that pissed?"

As we approach my office, I slice my glare up to Hux, and deepen it.

That's how pissed I am, dickhead.

I throw open my door, but don't get a chance to slam it in Huxley's smug face when he flies in after me.

There it stands in all it's stupid monstrosity.

Stupid fucking idea.

"The guys went rogue on this one, Mallie, and now you're mad at me?"

I spin on my red heels and look at him pointedly.

"If you would've kept your mouth shut about us, like I asked in the first place, and didn't tell the guys anything, then this wouldn't be happening, so yes, I'm actually fucking mad at you. Dick."

Azzy comes to a stop at my open door, peering in with wobbling cautiousness.

"Not now, Azzy." I say. "Before you go, get someone to rid this fucking thing from my office, please, thank you."

He gives me a simple nod before dashing off to hopefully do as I asked.

My gaze slides back to the man smirking at me.

Why do I want to both punch him, and kiss him? Ugh, men suck.

"Stop being such a prissy princess, Malia, it was a joke. Ha-ha." He deadpans, the impish mask long gone.

"Stop being such an arrogant prick, and maybe I'd be a little more pleasant to be around." I snipe back, slapping the life size human cardboard cut out of Huxley, over. "You think I want this shit in my face?"

The jerk knocks his head back with a deep, rumbling laugh. The corner of his eyes creased from the wideness of his smile.

My head tips to the side, so completely unable to tear my eyes away from him.

Have I missed that sound? That view? Him? Hmm.

"Christ, Mallie." He chuckles, bringing his focus back on me. "You have no idea how much I've missed you."
