Keerthi is a 23-year-old girl who owns a big Kalyana mandapam (marriage hall). Being the only daughter to her parents, she is pampered a lot. She gets whatever she asks for. Her parents showered her with so much of love and affection.
Upon completing her masters in Australia,She returned to India only to take care of the hall, renovate it and expand it. Keerthi's parents are well settled, and they wanted their daughter to do Engineering or Medicine.
Though her parents wanted Keerthi to be in a different profession, at last agreed and did not object to her passion. Being their only daughter, they wanted to see her live happily and go achieve her dreams. So they agreed for her choice of profession.
The hall named Chandrambika Marriage Hall is located in the main area in Chennai. It is now renovated to a big spacious AC Hall with lift, car parking , separate floor for dining rooms, and 10 stay rooms.
From the very young age, Keerthi wanted to become an independent working woman taking care of the business part.
The hall was their ancestral property which was passed on to her Father Chandran,who works a corporate lawyer for a well renowned company. Ambika her mother is a loving home maker who loves her family lot.
Vasan is a 28 year old , 5.11 inches tall, handsome hunk, both Hard and smart worker, working in an IT company. His family is neither poor nor rich. They are in between upper middle class and middle class.
His Father Moorthy was a school teacher in Govt. school who died 3 years back due to illness. His mother Vasanthi is home maker.
After his father's death 3 years back due yo sudden cardiac arrest, he became the sole breadwinner of his family.
He has a younger brother named Vijay who is doing his final year Engineering. His sister Amrita is on her 12th Standard.
Vasan took the responsibility of handling his household expenses and his siblings education expenses and was the pillar of support for his family.
Understanding their financial situation his siblings does not bother him financially for unnecessary things.
Vijay denied taking Engineering course and decided to opt for a Bachelor's degree considering Financial Situations.
But Vasan was very adamant in providing right and correct education just like him to his siblings and made him choose Engineering.
Being the backbone and sole breadwinner of the family, Vasan never had time to romance or think about it. Even the marriage topic was something started by his mother considering his age.
To the moment, marriage or love life is not on the cards for Vasan , due to his other priorities. He wants to improve himself more financially and give a settled life to his siblings and mother.
With constant pestering from his mother, and no other option , he agreed to register his name in the matrimony site.
