Next day, she was waiting impatiently from morning for his call. Though she has given time till 5 pm , she was excited and afraid. Keerthi did not spare even a single God. The time crossed evening 6 pm.

Her mind warned her not to make the call to him. But her shameless heart made her take the phone and dial his number.

The call went on and on, but he never picked up. She sent lot of messages in WhatsApp. but no reply at all from him.

Feeling frustrated and irritated, she threw the phone on the bed and came out of her room hearing the knock on the door.

Chandran: "Is your marriage hall available on the next month for an engagement?"

Keerthi: " whose engagement?"

Ambika : "Who else, it is that guy Vasan. He is getting engaged and they are looking for big mandapam."

" what are you guys talking about? how do you know him?" Keerthi's voice came louder with shock clearly evident on her face.

Chandran: " the friend whom we met yesterday, he told us. His Sister's daughter is going to get married to him. Its a love marriage arranged by their parents.

They are looking for marriage hall. He suddenly remembered about us and asked for our mandapam."

Keerthi felt literally shattered hearing the news and now understood Vasan was indeed right. She blamed herself  for  waiting stupidly for these many days for him.

He is really not worth for her. She decided to not meet him or talk with him no matter what. All the memories of him she wanted to erase.

"Paa, I will not give my hall for his engagement. Let him look for something else. And the son that you were talking about for marriage earlier, I am ok with proceeding.

And one more thing, I want my engagement to happen on the same day as Vasan's. It should happen in my mandapam only" Keerthi spoke with tears flowing like waterfall. 

"Make sure to send invitation to that guy as well" she added again turning to her father.

Chandran and Ambika felt verry happy and smiled at each other seeing Keerthi's statement.  

After an hour, Ambika informed Keerthi about her father's friend and their family who are coming to see her tomorrow. Keerthi readily agreed to it. 

Next day, though Keerthi got ready, she was not quite ready for the marriage. But her anger against Vasan was high and wanted to get married soon before him.

Keerthi was waiting in her room thinking about Vasan and his rejection. She heard a car sound and doors opening indicating the guests have arrived. Chandran and Ambika greeted them with happy faces.

Its been just totally of 3 minutes, since she heard the car sound. Ambika entered her room.

"Keerthi, Mapilai(groom) wants to meet you" hearing it Keerthi stood up. Ambika quickly continued. " no need of you to come out , he himself is coming here to meet you."

"what ?? no formalities of me coming out to meet them?" Keerthi questioned in bewilderment.

"They have all seen your face already in photo and Mapilai just cannot wait to see you in person. He is so much in love with you" While Ambika was conversing they heard a knock on the door. 

"Looks like Mapilai is very impatient. Ok All the best" Ambika rushed out of the room with more enthusiasm. Keerthi has not seen her parents this  happy.

With how things are going this fast, Keerthi knew this would definitely lead to Marriage. 

The guy came in and closed the door. Seeing him, Keerthi's anger knew no bounds.  Had she known he is the one her parents were talking about she would have given left and right for what he did earlier.

She stepped forward to shout at him. But he bolted the door. 

"ei.. Rascal... Rogue, get out of my room. Who gave you permission to enter inside. First unlock the door"

"who needs to give me permission  haan? We are going to get engaged and soon marry, so I have all the rights"

" I am in love with someone else. I dont like you at all" Keerthi got irritated and walked past him to open the door. He quickly held her wrist and swirled her around.

He hugged her from behind and rested his chin on her right shoulders. His face was turned towards her right cheeks, fanning them with his breath.

Keerthi tried her level best to take his strong hands from her waist. "I will inform my dad about you. chi kai eduda"(take off your hand) Keerthi protested.

"solli ko podi" (I don't care if you tell). He grabbed the flesh of her cheeks between his teeth without paining for her. 

Keerthi had tears in her eyes. If Vasan had accepted her proposal yesterday, had he at least called her today, she would not have been in this situation. 

She literally scolded Vasan in her heart for making her go through the turmoil since yesterday.

The tears from her eyes touched his face. Seeing the wet patch on her cheeks, he turned her around to face him. 

Keerthi immediately hugged his torso crying heavily. She involuntarily rested her head on his chest. He patted her back , while the other hand caressed her hair softly.

She took his hands from her and went and sat on the cot. He took a chair and sat opposite to her with hands crossed near his knees.

"What happened??why you don't like me??"

"No one likes me. Everyone reject me for being over talkative. I am not matured and behaving childish. I talk all useless things. I... I.. " she sniffed heavily in the middle and continued, " I constantly nag people and pester them"

" who is that blind and heartless guy to reject you?? He made my pattu to cry. How dare he??" he uttered caringly.

Keerthi was crying her heart out. He lifted her chin and cupped her face. Half of her tears stopped by his simple touch.

Brushing off the tears with his thumb he spoke.

"Palkova.. will you" he started. But his sentence was swallowed by Keerthi who kissed his lips.

The kiss was so soft and needed one for her. He let her take the dominance and engulfed her waist. Satisfied with the kiss Keerthi seprated her  lips from his after sometime.

"marry me" she completed the sentence he started.

"yes , a big yes" came his reply with a wide grin and slammed his lips again, this time taking the control under him.

Did anyone found out whom Keerthi agreed to marry???
