Bridget's POV

"yes, after the exams we could plan it all you know!" Blaine replied.

"uhm...how about we discuss this at our spot after class?" I asked.
"Yeah...we could do that."

Blaine quickly ushered everyone out of the room once the lecture was finished. He seemed pretty excited to tell everyone about the surf trip.

We arrived at the skater's park
and are waiting for Atlas and Layla to come.

On our way, I called Layla to check up on her health. She said she's been feeling better after taking the pain meds. I told her not to come but she insisted on coming.

"God that idiot has been gone for like twenty minutes."
"Easy Jere...he'll come soon." I calm Jeremy down.
I was looking around when I saw the twins skating from afar. The brunette one caught my eye.

Jake Anderson.

He has always been good at everything, blessed with a pretty face. Pretty is an understatement, to be honest, he's more than that.
Tall, athletic body, brunette hair,
Pretty eyes and a charming smile.
he's so fine.
And I've fallen for him.

"I see you checking out that hottie again ha. Oh, tell him about your feelings already man." Jeremy smirked.
"Shut up, Jere. Look Layla and Atlas are here."

I hurriedly ran towards Layla and engulfed her in a big bear hug.

"How have you been Layla? Gawd I missed you so much" I cried out.
"Get off me you leech! You're crushing my lungs. I was doing just fine before you crushed my internal organs." she whined.
"Uhm sorry dude."

" Oh hey y'all...Now that everyone is here I want to tell y'all about something," Blaine said returning with Jake with their skateboards in their hands.

Blaine said, "We are all going to be busy preparing for the exams for a couple of weeks but I thought we could go surfing after the final. You know to have some peace of mind before our next semester begins."

"Damn, bro! That's a great idea if only the swell would never go away, there would be great waves all the time." Atlas remarked.

"What If there was a way to chase the swell?" Blaine questioned.

"What do you mean?" Layla asked.

"Remember the movie The Endless Summer?"

"Of course, it's a classic"

"Well instead of going around the world and surfing in an 'endless summer' we can travel down the coast and surf an endless swell!"

Jeremy was quite for a few seconds, his brows scrunched in contemplation.
"Yeah but there is no such thing as an endless swell. Swells are generated by storms, and storms-"

Blaine sighed " I know I know that swells are unpredictable but y'all know how different beaches fire during different swells, right?"

Jeremy nodded.

"So..." he grinned. "What if we went on a surfing safari down the coast and chased each swell depending on the swell direction. It would be possible to surf great waves all the time by hitting different-facing beaches.
It would be like the endless summer, except we call it an endless swell. Get it?"

The idea was actually good.
I threw my hands up in the air and high-fived Blaine. "You're a genius, Blaine."

"It's totally possible. But how to manage the food, gas and money, not to mention transportation?" I asked.

"Oh don't y'all worry about transportation. I can ask my dad to lend us his van. I've got my own van too. We can use both the vans." Jeremy offered.

"That's even better! We can all contribute a fair amount of money for the fuel and other ammunitions then." Blaine said.

"Alright fellas! its settled then.
we're going to a surfing sufari after our semester." I said.

everyone agrees.
