Emilie's POV
Scott and I were sitting on a bench on the Preserve while Sage sat on the Jeep and Stiles looked at stuff for college. "All right, so I found some cool two bedrooms in the Mission District, but they're pretty expensive. A couple in Haight and Ashbury, also expensive." Stiles said. "What about Berkeley? Don't a lot of students live around there?" Sage asked. "Yeah, yeah, we could try Knob Hill. But, the Jeep would probably burn through a lot of clutches." Stiles said. "You're bringing the Jeep?" I asked. "You know the plan, okay? No one gets left behind. That's the plan. Grace and Lydia's not gonna have a problem getting into Stanford. Eileen and Kira's thinking USF. Lucas and Malia's, uh, gonna, you know, they'll figure something out, okay. The plan's perfect." Stiles said. "Or we could also wait until we actually get into college and then figure out where to live." Scott said kissing my forehead. "I have a vision, dude. Okay? And it is a beautiful vision. Don't ruin the vision. Okay, we can check out the East Bay. Haven't looked at Oakland yet, you know. You're all right? You're starting to feel it?" Stiles asked Sage and Scott. "No. Just thinking." The two said. "About what?" I asked resting my head on Scott's shoulder. "Senior year." He said. "Senior year, come on, that's, that's... That's nothing. That's going to be easy." Stiles said. "It's more like something Deaton told me once. You ever hear of regression to the mean?" Sage said. "No, I don't think so." Stiles said. "It was his way of saying that life can't ever be all bad or all good. You know, eventually, things have to come back to the middle. So, think about the last few months. Things have been good, right? But not amazing." Scott said. "Yeah, but no one's tried to kill us in six months either." I said. "Right. We've been pretty much in the middle for a while... Which means, at some point, the scale has to tip one way or the other. Things are gonna get really good again." Sage said. "Or really bad." Stiles said and I heard lighting crack across the sky. "Think it's been long enough?" Sage said. "Yes!" Liam groaned we looked at mine and Scott's son chained to a tree. "Hey. Trying to have an adult conversation over here." Stiles said. "All right, you're two years older than me, and I'm fine. Just let me go." Liam said. "It's not that we don't trust you." Scott said. "It's that I don't trust you." Stiles said, can't he be nice to his unofficial nephew. "But after that last full moon." I said gently. "It was one slip-up!" Liam said giving me puppy dog eyes. "A slip-up? A dozen calls to the Sheriff's department about a monstrous dog boy running around the streets of Beacon Hills? Naked?" Stiles said as Scott and I undid the chains around Liam. "Why were you naked?" Scott asked. "He gets that from you." I said to Scott. "It was really hot out that night, okay? Let me go!" Liam said. "You sure you're okay?" I asked the boy as we undid the chains and he clinged to me like Scott does during bad full moons Liam although is like Velcro and refuses to be removed from Scott or me. "It won't happen again." Liam said in my shoulder. "You're in complete and total control." Scott said. "Yeah. Complete and total." Liam said. "Come on let's get going before it starts raining." I said. We got in the jeep and Liam was between Scott and I. "Is it a party?" Liam asked. "It's not a party." Stiles said. "Then what's at midnight?" Liam asked looking at us. "Your bedtime." Sage said. "Why aren't the girls going?" Liam said. "They're meeting us there, okay? And just stop asking questions, all right? It's a senior thing. You'll know when you're a senior." Stiles said. "You guys having trouble with your phones?" Sage asked and I shrugged. "Oh, what the hell?" Stiles asked the car stopped. "You out of gas?" Liam asked. "No, it's electrical. Probably the alternator again." Stiles said getting out with Scott and Sage. "Whoa, that's a lot of duct tape." Scott said knowing we at times fixed the Jeep with duct tape. "Kidding. We'll fix it." Sage said. "I know. It's just the last night of summer, you know? So, I wanted to make sure everyone was there tonight." Stiles said. "We'll make it. You got any tools?" I asked. "Yeah." Stiles said as Liam and I got out. "Guys... Guys!" Liam yelled. "Yeah, give us a second, please." Sage said. "Liam, stay in the car, okay?" I asked and saw something and Scott got infront of us and the car started up. "That was close." I said. "Very close." Stiles said. "Can we go now?" Liam asked and we nodded. "We need to pick up Lucas." I said looking at my phone. "Gotcha." Stiles said, we picked Lucas up he started living with Deaton since his aunt was a crazy bitch. He climbed in and we headed off.
Eileen's POV
After Peter turned out to be a pyschopath and my adopted dad got transferred to L.A. I asked Malia if I could stay with her and her dad, Henry, had no problem and treated me like he did Malia wee were now helping with a tree fallen in the hospital parking lot. "All right, here we go. Everybody get a good grip. Remember, lift with your legs-- that's where your power is." Henry said about a fallen tree. "One... Two... Three..." I said and Malia and I lifted it with ease. "Strong legs?" Malia and I said like a question. "Dad, is your phone working?" Malia asked. "No, I think the storm took the cell towers out." Henry said. "Ugh." Malia groaned. "It's going to be okay. You'll find out when you find out, Mal." I said using my nickname for her. "Do you two need a ride to the school?" Henry asked us. "Got one." Malia and I said in unison as the Jeep pulled up. "Sorry we're late." Stiles said as they got out and Lucas kissed Malia. "Hey." She said kissing him again. "I'm sorry, too." Liam said in between Scott and Emilie, normally anyone would find that weird but Scott, Emilie, and Liam look like a little family of three. "You kids do remember I own a gun, right?" Henry asked. "Vividly." Sage said, okay I so need that story later. "What?" Malia asked. "Did you find out yet?" Emilie asked. "Find out what?" Liam asked. "They're gonna email me." Malia said. "Is this about summer school?" Liam asked and Scott put his hand over Liam's mouth. "You told him?" I asked. "Uh..." Stiles and Lucas both said. "Oh, no! All they said was you had to go to summer school 'cause the principal said your test scores weren't good enough and you might have to repeat junior year." Liam said after getting Scott's hand off his mouth. "We should have left him chained to the tree." Sage said. "No." Emilie and Scott said.
Emilie's POV
We were dropping Liam off at the hospital for his dad to take him home, apparently his parents did like how many times he had snuck out out his house to be near Scott or me. "My dad's helping out in surgery. He's not gonna be done for hours. So, I'm either hanging out here... or, I could still go with you guys." Liam said. "Show me your hands." Scott said and we saw claws. "Okay, so I'm still having trouble." Liam said. "No, you're still learning. What do you do to stay focused on not changing?" I said to him gently. "But it's not working." Liam said. "It's working enough. Listen, Derek told me that you were one of the strongest that he'd ever seen at your age. Now, coming from him? That means a lot." Scott said running his fingers through Liam's hair. "Maybe means that things are gonna be harder for you for a while... But it also means something else, doesn't it?" I said. "That I'm really strong?" Liam asked us. "Hell yeah." We both said we looked at Sage who was trying to reach Kira. "Still can't reach Kira." He said. "Okay, you reminded her about tonight, though, right?" Stiles asked. "I think so. She only texted me once this week." Sage said. "Once? How'd you guys leave things when she left for New York?" Lucas asked. "Well, they were good. Yeah, I just said, you know, Don't worry about anything. Just go and have fun." Sage said. "No... You told her to go have fun?" Lucas asked. "Why? What's wrong with that?" I asked. "Just... I don't know... That can be interpreted a lot of different ways." Stiles said sternly. "Like what?" Scott asked also curious what the two thought. "Well, like, Don't worry, we're not exclusive-- go have fun with other guys." Lucas said. "No. No way." I said, knowing Kira would do that to Sage. "Malia, if you were going away, and I told you Don't worry, go have fun, what would you think I was talking about?" Lucas said. "Fun like bowling? Or sex with other guys?" Malia said. "Okay, yeah... Now, I'm worried." Sage said. "What would you do?" Scott asked me. "That depends you taking the baby with you or is he staying?" I asked as Liam was looking at us. "Fair point." Scott said. "25-year-old male, unrestrained driver involved in." A medic yelled rolling someone in on a gurney Scott and Sage stopped Melissa. "Hey, Mom? Where's all this coming from?" Sage asked. "A jack-knifed tractor-trailer on 115-- caused a major pile-up." Melissa said. "Okay, okay, there's only one way back into Beacon Hills from the airport." I said. "115." Scott said. "Kira's never gonna make it." Stiles said. "I can get her. You guys head to the school. Grace and Lydia's probably already there. We'll meet you by midnight." Sage said. "How are you gonna get to her in the middle of a traffic jam?" I asked. "We'll make it. Trust me." Sage said leaving. "Come on you stay here Pup." I said grabbing Liam and handing him a baggie of animal crackers I packed for him incase he got hungry during the full moon. "You packed him snacks?" Malia asked. "Do you want a hangery baby beta during a full moon?" I asked the pack. "No." Eileen said. "I'm not a baby." Liam said biting in an animal cracker. "Li just let her mother you." Scott said. We left to get to the school in the jeep, I had to sit on Scott's lap.
Eileen's POV
We got to the school and I smelt something horrible for Stiles. "Nothing from Sage or Kira." Scott and Emilie said. "Nothing from Grace." I said not seeing my girlfriend text me. "And nothing from Lydia, either." Stiles said. "And I still don't know if I passed. I don't want to do this unless I'm actually a senior." Malia said. "Yeah... huh." Lucas said. "What's wrong with you? You smell terrible." Malia asked Stiles. "Yeah, it's called anxiety-- should be a familiar scent for you by now, since it's pretty much a constant state for me." Stiles said. "Why's this thing so important to you?" I asked. "It's not. It's not. It's, uh. I don't know, maybe it is. I asked my dad the other day about his high school friends. Guess how many he still talks to? None. Not a single one. You know, these were his best friends, and he just says he lost touch with them, you know. So, I started thinking about things, like I always do-- obsessively. Yeah... And so, I'm thinking, what if... What if Scott's my best friend now, you know, but he's not my best friend for life?" Stiles said stressed, does he think we are all gonna leave him. "Kinda hard to get rid of Scott and I." Emilie said, yeah no shit she's Stiles little sister and Scott is practically married to her in werewolf terms. "Well, doesn't that just happen sometimes?" Lucas said. "Yeah, but only because we let it happen. You know, that's what I'm saying-- how come when we graduate, we're just expected to go our separate ways? If I've already found the best people in my life, why aren't I not trying to stay with them, you know?" Stiles said, how can he be that worried packs stick together, he's worried for nothing. "Well, I thought that was the plan. The dream." I said. "The vision. And don't mock the vision!" Stiles said. "I... I like the vision. Especially if I'm part of it. So that's why you wanted everyone here tonight-- because you don't want to lose all your friends after senior year." Malia said. "And I hope they don't want to lose me, either." Stiles said. "Dude you aren't losing Millie or I." Scott said. "Mal...?" Lucas and I asked her. "Someone's coming. Someone fast." Malia said. "Whoa!" Scott yelled as Liam ran right into Emilie and Scott's arms. "Oh, my God!" Emilie yelled seeing wounds on Liam. "Scott and Sage's in trouble." Liam groaned.
Emilie's POV
Right as Liam said that we saw Sage and Kira and then we also saw a bad guy. "A True Alpha and Luna? Where's your power, Scott and Emilie?" He said. "Who are you, I don't remember fighting a huge asshole?" I said. "A devoted fan. Show me the man who took down Deucalion and broke the Argents-- I came for that Alpha and his precious Luna. Come on!" The bad guy said. Scott and I shifted into our wolf forms, since either my mate of pack is in danger. "RAWRRRRRR!" Scott yelled I saw Sage also shifted and Kira held her sword. "AHHHHHHHHH!" Kira yelled. "And I didn't come just to claim your status." The guy said. "RAWRRRRRRR!" Another wolf yelled angry. "GRRRRR!" Liam growled at the person, I'll go help Liam."I don't know who you are, or what you thought you were going to do, but I'll give you a choice. You can stay, and I'll break something else... Or you can run." Scott said in his alpha tone, I forgot how sexy that tone was, shit I probably shouldn't be getting turned on while fighting. "I'd run." Conner and Isabelle said showing up with guns. "You don't remember me, do you? I guess I look a little different since the fourth grade." The other werewolf said, wait I remember that voice. "Theo?" I asked. "You know him?" Eileen and Malia asked. "They used to. Trust me, I never thought I'd see you guys again. A couple of months ago, I heard of an Alpha in Beacon Hills. When I found out his name was Scott McCall, I just couldn't believe it. Not just an Alpha, but a True Alpha and Emilie Stilinski a pack luna." Theo said. "What do you want?" Sage asked. "I came back to Beacon Hills-- back home with my family-- because I want to be a part of your pack." Theo said. "We haven't seen this kid in years-- you don't find that highly suspicious?" Stiles asked as we walked. "We're ind of more concerned about the guy who just tried to kill us." Scott said. "I'm in! I passed. I'm officially a senior." Malia squealed and I hugged the girl happy for her. "Thank God! Where have you guys been? The whole senior class is here! Are we doing this or not?" Lydia said walking up with Grace. "This isn't vandalism, is it?" Kira said worried I patted her back smiling. "Not technically." Lydia said. "Kira every senior at beacon hills have done it." Isabelle said. I put my name down by Scott's on the library shelf and Scott put a heart around the two. I saw Isabelle's name and I smiled seeing a doodle of a Pom Pom next to it. "She would have been with us." Stiles said remembering Allison. "Yeah." Sage said, I sighed remembering losing one of our first pack members and one of my first girl friends with Grace and Lydia. "She still is." Grace said. "By the way Izzy where's little Allie?" I asked my sister wondering who is watching my niece. "Oh Lilly is watching her." Conner said. "Leave it to a Druid being the only one to watch an Argent baby." Isabelle said, we nodded and looked at the bookcase.A\N: New chapter with the senior year of the pack starting up.
