michael was really grateful that he didn't have to deal with any jocks- well at least the well known, popular ones- in class this year. he only needed ashton and the rest of the ghosts around the school- like 6 other ones. he was scared that they'd leave him, but in a sense they already have. new ones come in and old ones leave. he was scared for the day ashton would leave.
speaking of, michael sighed heavily as ashton was rambling about something along the lines of the mirrors once again. auras, being able to see who's a demon or vampire, and basically anything supernatural. but michael wasn't listening. no. the only thing that was stuck- more liked glued- to his mind was fat and friendship.
he knows that he eats a lot, but he'd never thought about how he was fat. he'd glance down to his stomach once in a while during lunch and class furrowing his eyebrows at the lump he was developing. had he seriously gained so much weight that he looks like as if he was 4 months pregnant?
"michael!" he heard someone shout his name. he snapped his head up to ashton earning very few glares from the students around him. "i've been calling your name for, like, 5 minutes!" he pouted, laying flat on his stomach in the air and rolling on the spot a few times before giggling from dizziness.
sorry, he wrote on a paper.
ashton smiled softly and floated onto michael's table, sitting on the left side's edge (he's not actually sitting, he's just pretending) and swinging his legs. "are you mad at me?" he mumbled softly.
no, he scribbled quickly.
ashton squinted his eyes, pursing his lips. "something bothering you?" he whispered. michael bit his bottom lip and showed him the paper with the word 'no' written on it. "are you sure?"
yes, michael wrote slowly biting his lip.
ashton, as oblivious as he is sometimes, just shrugged it off with a smile.
