🏹Robin🏹
Oh ho, you're talking about the strong, street-smart arrow slinger, yeah? Well, Robin likes pranking, but not this kind of deadly, deadly prank. You and Robin always text each other after you are done work at Matilda's cafe. So when you don't text him for a good long while, your lovable green bean becomes worried and starts rocking back and forth on his haunches, worrying that something had happened to you. But you would tell him if an intruder or thief was in your house, right? Right? After another hour goes by, Robin gets a text that you're injured, and someone has suddenly broken in. Robin quickly realizes you're in danger, and he needs to get to you fast. Grabbing his bow and arrows on the way out of the hideout, Nottingham's beloved hero practically zooms to your location, your street number quickly running through his mind. Little John, Tuck, and Marian give each other looks, then start running after him with their weapons drawn, just in case. As Robin nears your house, he gets another text that the intruder stabbed you and suddenly left. His bow out, Robin kicks open the door and looks around, scanning for the intruder that ever dared to hurt you.
Seeing nothing out of the ordinary, Robin ventured further into your house, but the scene in front of him made his blood freeze in his veins. You laid on the floor, surrounded by glass shards. You would've looked almost peaceful like that....if it wasn't for the oozing wound and knife piercing through your stomach in a painful looking position. Oh boy.....Robin runs to you in panic, dropping his bow, and falls to his knees beside you, doing several chest compressions on your chest. Not giving up, Robin tried again, hoping and praying to God that he could still save you. Your eyes remained closed, not one single ounce of movement to be seen.
You still don't wake up, scaring Robin a little bit now. Which is why he repeatedly begs you to open your eyes. Hearing no response once again, Robin cradles you in his arms and cries hopelessly into your chest, devastated that you died without him even getting a chance to try and save you. Robin is so incredibly distraught by your death that he softly sings the sweet lullaby you taught him when the two of you first started dating.
Little John, Tuck, and Marian open the door and hear Robin's pained sobs, as well as quiet singing, closing their eyes in pain once they take in the scene of their beloved crush/friend/cousin breaking down into your chest. Sure, Robin was sad before, but never had he broken down into body-shaking, guilt-stricken, guttural sobs like that.
When you open your beautiful e/c eyes after about an hour, Robin is very happy and kisses you over and over again, thanking the Lord you're alive in his arms. After you told him about your prank, Robin is a bit irritated and makes you shower him with attention for breaking down his defenses enough to make him cry over you like that. Robin also scolds you a little after that, breaking down at the end of his rant. All in all, our hero is just glad that you're not actually dead, otherwise he'd be completely lost without you.
💜Little John💜
Little John? Oh, you'd have to be crazy to try this on him! Little John can't wait to see you and is so excited he feels like bursting, but after an hour of you not texting him, he starts fearing the worst. However, you soon text him that you need help, and a thief just stabbed you. Scared now, Little John wakes up Robin, telling him you did not text him for a while, and then you texted him that you need help, so he is assuming that you might be in danger. Robin immediately grabs his bow and arrows because he knows you mean a lot to Little John, and also because you're his friend. Little John is running to your house so fast Robin has to speed to keep up with him, and his heart is beating so much faster.
Little John reaches your house with his club ready and trades looks with Robin, who already has his bow positioned and ready to fire at any cost. Little John slowly wrenches the door open with his club in hand and gasps when he sees your body splayed out on the ground. Little John falls to his knees, dropping his club, and pulls you close to try and hear your pulse. When he finds none, Little John screams out your name in anguish and cradles you in his arms, burying his face in your bloody chest. Having heard the scream, Robin swiftly enters, his usual face on, bow ready to aim at whoever made Little John scream like that. However, his fury turns into shock upon seeing Little John holding you and crying uncontrollably into your chest. Realizing that they were too late to save you, Robin lowered his bow, closed his eyes, and started to cry silently, mourning your death. You open your eyes a few minutes later and see Little John crying on you, surprise running through your veins when you see Robin is here too, also shedding some tears. After Little John is told about the prank, he is very angry and has you cuddle with him as revenge for making him think you were hurt. Robin warns you never to do that again because Little John's heart wouldn't be able to take that pain again, the way he felt when you got stabbed some chapters ago.
🖤Tuck🖤
You and Tuck usually exchange funny jokes and memes between one another after you leave your job as a chef, so he's confused when you don't text him after leaving the castle and going home. After an hour of you not texting him, Tuck is terrified when you suddenly text him that you need help and you've been stabbed. He quickly wakes up Robin and Little John, who are exhausted at first, but when they see Tuck's pale face, they immediately come to the conclusion that something bad happened to you.Tuck dashes to your house with his slingshot in his hands, worried for your safety and absolutely terrified for your life. Robin and Little John are shocked at how fast Tuck is moving. Your boyfriend practically becomes a lightning bolt on the road as he pushes past villagers to get to your location. The minute he arrives at your house, Tuck kicks open the door with his slingshot aimed in the center of the room, ready to protect you from whoever hurt you. But he finds no one there, only your unconscious body sprawled out on the ground.
Wait a second.........what?
Tuck falls to his knees and pulls you close, trying to find a heartbeat, a pulse, anything at all, but your touch is as cold as ice. Crying now, Tuck begs you over and over to wake up in a heartbroken tone of voice. Hearing no response, Tuck yells out your name and cradles you in his arms, burying his wet, tear-stained face into your bloody chest. Hearing Tuck's scream, Robin and Little John enter with bow and club armed but gasp when they see your limp body lay flat in his shaking arms. Little John turns away from the scene and starts to cry, dropping his club as he buries his face in his hands. Robin on the other hand, stands there in shock for a minute, wondering if this was some sort of prank (how right he is) and you would wake up saying that you were just fine and there was no reason for them to cry. However, seeing Little John and Tuck in tears proved Robin was very wrong, this time at least.
Robin throws his bow and arrows at the wall in anger, falling to his knees in anguish once they hit their target.
Tears plop onto the ground in front of Robin, showing he's now crying. The boy slams his fists against his sharp arrows, screeching at the top of his lungs in anger about why he never saved you; why couldn't you have lived? Why did you leave them?
Robin continues ramming his fists against his arrows, turning them a dark bloody red. Our hero lets a sob run from his dry throat and bows his head in sorrow for Tuck's fallen love.
The guilt starts gnawing at Robin's stomach once he wonders how Marian and Scarlett would react to your death. You three were as thick as thieves, and finding out you're gone....it would break their hearts.
Grief overwhelms Robin's brain, as does the heartbreak over not saving you from this unforgivable death.
You all should know from previous chapters that Robin doesn't take too kindly to you being injured, especially if you're a friend to him and his gang.
Normally, Robin never cries because he is afraid of looking weak in front of Tuck and Little John, but the death of a beloved friend is an exception.
Hearing Tuck cry that he should have protected you and why you ever choose to give your heart to a stupid coward like him lowers the last of Robin's already frayed defenses. Our hero tilts his head back and begins to bawl, angry at himself for not keeping you safe but also sad because he never saw Tuck so broken before.
Robin sniffled as the dinner bell chimed in the distance. He could care less about that. All he could care about was letting you down like this.
All three boys stay like this for a while, at least until you open your eyes and see them crying in front of you. Tuck is holding you and sobbing softly, Little John's turned away from you, but you could still see him crying, and Robin was in front of you, shedding tears that fell onto your floor. His hands looked rough and bloodied, like Robin got into a fight or something (Oh honey, if only you knew). Wait, was that blood on the floor?!
Once Little John and a still slightly somber Robin are told about your devious prank, they are slightly annoyed, but know you didn't mean to hurt them on purpose and leave. Tuck, meanwhile, makes you shower him with angry cuddles all the while inside he is glad that you are alive and safe in his arms. All I can say is that you really scared Tuck a lot, Y/N. Also, have you learned your sad lesson yet?
