Finn woke up and stretched, expecting to feel all the pain of the day before and suspicious when there was none. Stiffness, and fatigue, but no pain. She closed her eyes again and looked at the magic flow. Her own magic had regenerated enough that several spells she kept up at all times had been able to start working again. It wouldn't last long, but if she was careful it may last until nightfall, and that would give her another nights rest to recover more.

Household training. She decided as she slowly sat up. That's what they would do today. Questions, practice fire control, get ready for the upcoming council meeting. Finn stood and went to her bathroom for her morning routines. She took her time, no point in getting winded doing mundane tasks like this. She pulled pencils and a note pad from her bedside table and went to the stairs. She could hear Gloria starting her own morning routine.

Finn descended her stairs slowly, forcing herself to pay attention to every detail on the way. The feel of the runes carved into the wood. The shag carpet as it shifted and was pinned beneath her feet. The slight breeze as air moved past her. At the base of the stairs she smiled for what felt like the first time in years and walked into her kitchen. She thought about making pancakes, but decided not to. She didn't want to over do herself on the first day she was finally feeling better.

She made a pot of coffee and toast for herself. Gloria joined her, eyeing her with concern as she made her own breakfast, but Finn just kept smiling to herself and enjoying her morning.

"You seem to be in a better state." Gloria said.

"I feel better, but I'm not stupid. I don't want to over do it. I was thinking today we could focus on stuff in the house. Do a question and answer thing, go over your training maybe. Prep for the council meeting." With every idea Finn brought forward she noticed Gloria got more excited and she smiled when she was done.

"I love all of that. I'm gonna go grab some paper and pens!" Gloria stood up from the table and nearly knocked her chair to the floor. "Meet you in the training room?"

Finn nodded and as soon as Gloria was out of the kitchen she stood and tidied up. She stepped out of the kitchen and trailed behind an over-joyed Gloria as she spun and talked her way into the training room. Finn frowned when the talking stopped with a gasp, and she hurried forward, stepping into the training room and gasping when that wasn't where she ended up.

"We did send out an email." Pietro said, his head tilted at Finn and Gloria.

Finn cursed under her breath. "I don't have email."

Gloria twitched and then looked up at Finn out of the corner of her eyes. "I gave them mine. There was a letter too, but you were sick and then I lost track of the days."

Finn pressed her lips together and then held up her hands in a shrug. "We haven't gotten your computer yet either. This isn't the first time I've been dragged to a Council meeting unprepared." She turned her attention to Amahle. "I would appreciate a seat today though."

Amahle raised her hands and Finn sat, knowing the dirt and rocks would form to support her comfortably. She noticed the door frame then and nodded to Gloria to get her attention, then pointed at it.

"As I'm sure you've at least begun to figure out, intention is everything in our world." Amahle began, speaking to Gloria more than anyone else. Finn appreciated that the Councilor would make sure Gloria was calm and had some information to go forward. She took the explanation period to look around and see which representatives had come today.

"We can forgive nearly horrific outcomes if the intention was good, and that's one of the ways the Chronicles help us. They tell us the intent of the person because they are written from that person's perspective." Robin from the Fae Court sat weaving something out of tall grasses he plucked from the edge of the glade they were in. Odd that Ron and Tania weren't here, but it was almost worse that Robin would be here.
