As soon as the sun was peeking over the horizon, Sky Monroe had decided that was the best time to wake all of the teens up from their much needed rest. She knew they needed to maximize their time, in order to get to the drop off location before the night hit again.

But that didn't stop the restless teens from groaning in annoyance at their sudden awakening. "Can't we sleep for a few more minutes?"

"It's now morning." Sky pointed out. "We need to leave now if we wanna get to the drop off location before it gets dark again."

"You heard her, we gotta go now." Campbell quickly agreed with the girl, already packing up his things.

"These supplies better be good or I'm gonna jump into the river." Julian muttered in annoyance, reluctantly getting up from the ground.

"Hopefully, they left us some dessert rations like instant chocolate pudding mix." Alisha exclaimed.

"I'd kill for some chocolate pudding." Juura grinned.

"If we get that, some packets of instant milk and coffee grounds then we could make gravel cake." Campbell suggested to the group.

"I haven't had that in forever." Winter grinned at the thought of the dessert.

While most of the teens' mouths were watering at the thought of the dessert, Sky just stared at them in confusion. She had no idea what gravel cake. "What is that?" Everyone instantly looked at her like she was completely insane.

"You don't know what gravel cake is?" Alisha's jaw dropped.

"No." Sky shook her head.

"It's a type of chocolate cake that the poor people make to celebrate for gatherings." Campbell confirmed. "If there's a party or dinner or reunion then gravel cake is there."

"I've never heard of that." Sky admitted.

"Of course, you haven't. You're one of the privileged, you can eat real chocolate cake." Julian reminded. "We were all too poor to afford real food, so we made whatever we could from our ration packs."
