I walked up slowly to her, before finally closing our distance with each other and both our lips touched gently.

"I'm sorry, y/n, after all those things I did to you, I understand if you don't like me now" she said as she pulled away from the kiss.

"Haerin-ah, what you did to me made me suffer for 3 years, ever since jaesung came in your life, our relationship started falling apart quite a bit, but that doesn't mean I don't like you, I kept on hoping in my life that for once, you'd like me back, did you?" silence started to roam around us, before she finally spoke up and said,

"I do, I love you back, y/n, I don't know why I never noticed it, I get it, I'm stupid."

"no, you're not, you have the most beautiful soul in this world nobody can beat, that's exactly why I love you" I reassured her, trying not to make her blame herself after everything.

"Thank you, y/n, but now I can't help but feel you've moved on,"

"I haven't, I tried to talk to Hanni a lot, but..my mind still seems to cherish our moments together, I really can't forget those."

"do you like hanni now?" she asked, I felt a pang of guilt rush through me as she said that, Hanni was the only one with me during my darkest days ever since Haerin's been busy with other stuff, but I still do like haerin, even if it meant she was red flag, in my heart, she will never be.

"I- I like hanni, but I love you." shocked with my words, haerin could only be seen in a red face.

I turn my head to my pocket which had my phone in, I excused myself from haerin before accepting the call,

"what did you tell me earlier?"

"Me and Haerin are dating now"

"what? y/n-ah! what about me?" I could just imagine her pouting through the call, I chuckled at her cute behavior.

"we'll stay as friends, I'll tell you what, you'll officially be my bestfriend now, since haerin's more leveled up from our relationship"

"y/n, you're acting like this is a game to play with! you only wanna be my bestfriend now that you have haerin?"

"I don't know what else to title you! do you wanna be my enemy instead?"

"what?- no! fine, I'll accept the offer, but you better not cancel any of our hangouts, okay?"

"sure, I won't, if haerin will agree, that is."

"y/n!! you're seriously getting the best of me right now, you're lucky I have a crush on you"

"I think I'm even more lucky now that I have haerin,"

I ended the call and as I turn to look behind, I saw haerin nervous.

"what happened? is something wrong?" I asked, trying to figure out hr mysterious demeanor.

"I- I'm sorry I ruined your friendship with hanni," her voice sounded so gentle, I wanna kill myself.

"It's okay, haerin, you didn't ruin it, she became my bestfriend, instead, all thanks to you." I kiss her forehead to calm her down, but I guess it only made her heart race.

"y-y/n-ah!" her cheeks flushed red, I could only smile at her.

"is it official?" she asked, I laughed at her innocent voice.

"of course we are, are you still gonna stare at jaesung?"

"no, why would I when I have you, the real gentleman."

"that's a relief, shall we go back to class now?" I said.

"sure, but one more thing,"

"what is-" she quickly cut me off and softly kissed my lips, it felt more amazing this time.

"wow, I never knew an Introvert had that in them," I said, making haerin blush hard.
