Nightfall had cascaded over the land where the delinquents had settled but they were too hopped on excitement to turn in for some sleep. Despite, the pale moon making itself present in the dusky grey sky, their camp was just as loud and vibrant.
The centre of the excitement was at the giant bonfire. Most of the teens were gathered around it for some extra warmth but it also became the main socialization spot. Exciting chatter filled the air as everyone was just overjoyed to be reunited with their friends again.
Those who didn't partake in chit-chat, preferred to dance with each other. And luckily for them, a few delinquents had decided to build their own makeshift drum sets that they were currently using to provide some music to the otherwise quiet atmosphere. Around the bonfire, many pairs had gathered, swaying to the intense beat.
Overall, the atmosphere was just fun and exciting. For once in their lives, the delinquents could feel like normal teenagers again. They were no longer prisoners, they were just regular teens who liked to life on the edge.
The only person to not participate in the rowdy events was Tuesday Katagiri.
Instead, she had turned her attention towards surveilling the camp perimeters. She knew she had to get a good idea of the layout, so she can finalize the sketches of her map of the camp but also, search for anything that could be deemed useful or at least, help them survive just another day.
Tuesday knew it probably wasn't the best idea to walk in the dark by herself but she was willing to do it if it mean the rest of the camp could be safe.
The girl slowly made her way through the thick forest but made sure not to stray far from the camp. The last thing she needed was to get lost. This led her to taking careful steps, clutching her dagger close to her chest in case anything jumped out.
The atmosphere was quiet for the most part. She could occasionally hear the echoing of laughter from the camp but most of the time, it was just a few owl hoots and maybe the buzzing of the bugs. Other than that, it was relatively peaceful.
Once Tuesday was sure that she had gone far enough in the forest, she decided it was now time to turn around and head back to camp. She didn't want to be out in the dark longer than she needed to be.
As she was walking back, she couldn't help but slow down her pace to take in the beauty of the night. She was practically amazed at the sight. The dusky grey sky scattered with twinkling stars, just did something to her. The sight almost looked fake to her but every time she blinked, she was brought back to this reality.
