The next morning Ke'Kaya lay sprawled out on Nate's chest, sound asleep. Nate, who is awake, strokes her face tenderly. He could not believe what they had just done. Not only had he made it through the Dream Hunt, and was now officially part of the clan, but he had also found true love.

"Sometimes, I forget this isn't my real body... That I'm sleeping far away." Nate muttered to himself.

Ke'Kaya stirred and raised, placing her fingertips on Nate's chest.

"What are you saying?" She asked, looming over Nate as she peered into his eye.

"Tsu'Tey was right you know, I'm not a true Na'vi," Nate turned his face away.

"The real me is lying in a metal box somewhere, dreaming about this," Nate added.

Ke'Kaya frowned. But then smiled and shook her head.

"This body is real." She replied, touching his forehead.

"You are Na'vi... You are one of the people," She smiles, pulling her hands down and stroking his face.

"This spirit is real." Her eyes are luminous, honest, infinitely deep.

"When I was first your teacher, I hated all Sky People." She frowned again, pulling to sit on her knees again.

Nate mirrored her, pulling his torso up to face her.

"When Mother~ uh, Grace~ When she was teaching us your ways, and my sister grew angry, she convinced my best friend, Te'Ka to fight beside her." Ke'Kaya looked down at her hands placed on her knees.

"They were running, but the sky people killed him. I hated all of them for it, for stealing so much from the people but~" Ke'Kaya then turned her eyes back up and smiled sadly.

"You have also taught me," She whispered.

"Spirit is all that matters." She finishes, placing her forehead on Nate's.

"I am with you now, Natey. We are mated for life." Ke'Kaya whispers in a sweet voice.

"We are?" Nate chuckled and smiled.

"Yes. It is our way." Ke'Kaya pulled away and took Nate's hand.

"Oh. I forgot to tell?" Ke'Kaya smiled innocently.

"Really, we are?" Nate asked again, his face neutral.

"We are." Ke'Kaya nods once more.

Nate thinks more for a second. He then smiles and goes to lay back down, opening his arms. Ke'Kaya smiles and cuddles back into his chest, exhaling happily.

"I would want nothing more, than to be forever with you," Nate whispers, and Ke'Kaya snuggles into his skin.

Later that afternoon, clad in Hometree, all the Na'vi are gathered waiting for Eytukan to speak. A large party of raiding hunters, their bodies painted, raise weapons overhead calling out and crying. Grace, in her Avatar form, watches from the crowd with growing alarm.

~𝑇𝑠𝑢'𝑡𝑒𝑦 𝘸𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝑙𝑒𝑎𝑑 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑤𝑎𝑟 𝑝𝑎𝑟𝑡𝑦!~ Eytukan calls out, raising his clenched fist over his head.

Tsu'tey steps forward, face full of hate, raising a war cry among the hunters as he thrusts and pumps his bow in the air.

~𝘚𝘵𝘰𝘱! 𝘗𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘴𝘦!~ Grace steps forward.

~𝘛𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘸𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘰𝘯𝘭𝘺 𝘮𝘢𝘬𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘴 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘴𝘦,~ She spoke, trying to calm the roaring fire.
