7/10
(the cover art style [by cyprus draegon on deviant art] is so good)
overall, this ship is decent. i would rate this higher if it weren't for the events of the first book of wof.
(no spoiler warning, unless you haven't read the first book)
now, don't get me wrong, the first book was really good. the only thing that i didn't like (not tui t. sutherland's fault, i simply don't fully like this character) is how obsessive peril is.
this may have been done on purpose, to give peril a unique personality. i'm not saying that the book is bad, i'm just saying that peril's attitude isn't my favorite.
the graphic novel really described how peril was obsessive over clay, even going to the point where she told queen scarlet that they (the dragonets of destiny) were trying to escape just so she didn't have to say goodbye to clay.
overall, i think that clay's chill personality balances peril's fiery attitude, and that they would work alright/well together.
i do want to mention, however, that clay is probably way more obsessed with food than he is with peril. he probably doesn't even know how much she likes him.
anyways, this ship is still good, but there are many other wof ships that are better.
