She could hear Malfoy's sudden loud tone. "Here is my cousin! Mattheo Marvolo Riddle!" he introduced the boy to his "friendgroup", looking around the Great Hall with head up. Talking about a show off.
After dinner everyone went to their House common room with the first years following the Prefects to get some information on their way to their dorms.
Pansy, Lily and Arabella went to check their spectral list of dorm details. It was a list that appears in the middle of this large Slytherin common room with dark green glow, and silver outlines, with the instructions written in black. Though there was some extra writing above, it was some new announcement about dorms rules.
The headmistress had decided to make each one of boys and girls share one dorm to get used into each others life's as part of a plan to actually mix the students with their House.
So the dorm-mates are as following:
Pansy Parkinson and Draco Malfoy 209
Astroia Greengrass and Adrian Pucey 246
Lily Warrington and Lorenzo Berkshire 271
Orla Quirke and Colin Carrow 280
Arabella Levine and Mattheo Riddle 325
She gasped after reading Mattheo's name and had to re-read, there is no way! After that creepy moment, her only hope was that she won't have to go near him...but now she is doomed.
Although a part of her felt the thrill of getting the chance to get closer to that boy. She bit down on the inner side of her cheek as she decided, she won't let any boy go over her like that again!
.
.
.
"Are you going to enter the dorm soon?"
Some velvet- and cold voice erupted making her head swing to the cause of the noise.
It was no other than the already infamous boy leaning against the wall beside the door. With his hands inside his pocket and eyes piercing through her soul for some reason as the corner of his lips lifted. "Otherwise you can let me in and then continue whatever magic you were trying to master, that sounds like a very good deal, no?"
She almost shrieked as she looked at him, blinking four times hoping he would disappear to the thin air but apparently..he was here for real.
He pushed himself off the wall and took one more step towering over her. Arabella could feel her breath hitch slightly and clouds filled her mind.
He paused for a second but soon she was taken aback by him leaning in, his face inches away from hers as his eyes stared directly into her own. Did he recognise me?
Instead he simply let one of his hands out of his pocket and put it on the door handle and turned it to open before giving the door a slight push with the tip of his fingers exposing his hands with visibly viens adding to the dark green and black rings he was wearing. The door swung wide open as she was frozen in her place because of his proximity, he tilted his head aside to whisper into her ear his lips almost touching it.
"Move, pea"
His voice was deep and smoky. His warm breath hitting her skin causing her goosebumps and a weird burning feeling. He leaned back to look into her eyes again while she stared back at his deep dark ones being drawn to them as if he had some kind of spell.
"Are you going to stare at me for the rest of the evening?" He commented on her stunned reaction, mockingly.
When the realisation hit her, her legs finally unscrewed themselves from the ground and she walked into the dorm. "I would appreciate you respecting my personal space" Her composter was the most important thing though, she ain't letting him get into her as she would easily expose herself.
Bloody hell, did I drink something? She thought
And
HEY!
DID HE JUST CALL ME PEA?
Arabella could feel the heat climb up to her cheeks.
She wasn't THAT short!
Who knew that idiot could be such a disrespectful brick too!!
Was she going to say that out loud?
No.
That still doesn't mean she can't imagine it.
She was smart enough to hold her mouth..today.
