Annabeth could barely sleep, she tossed and turned in her bunk. Percy... he-could he be under the influence of... Titan Kronos...?  She wondered, a small pinprick of hope warming into her heart. Percy can change, he must just be under Krono's spell!  She smiled a bit, at the thought of that, even though the chances were small, and it would be horrible if Kronos was rising again.

She finally drifted asleep, wishing for Percy to be the same as he was, and they could go to New Rome together, and live peacefully.

But, demigod dreams aren't always peaceful.

Percy was at the pit again, a dagger at his feet.

"Now Perseus, you shall use this dagger to kill Tartarus, alas, you shall have to pierce his heart."

Krono's voice boomed, and Percy shivered.

"Percy...." Annabeth whispered.

"Okay, uhh.......... Kronos,..."

"It shall be master when you speak to me, mortal"

"Yes-fine master..." Percy said, he looked annoyed, if only a tiny bit.

He took the dagger and walked into shadow, his skin seemed to have a white tinge.

A horrible laughing erupted from the pit, booming the earth. Percy had walked away a while ago, but Annabeth thought that Percy should hear it"

"Annabeth Chase, you are watching, for you shall know that that boy isn't Percy, he is but a replacement, or shall I say, I glimpse of what will become of Percy, Though I doubt you shall live to tell the others."

Kronos started laughing from the pit again, and suddenly darkness bloomed over her vision.

Annabeth woke, sweat dripping down her back.

Could that really not be Percy? Could dark magic do that?

Suddenly a rumble shook the cabin.

Annabeth ran outside, meeting the terrified faces of the other campers, And she looked in horror at Percy, the fake Percy, trying to hold on to the side of a big fissure that had opened, that he had fallen into.

She ran over, even after Chiron yelled not to, and stared the fake Percy in the eye.

"Sorry, I don't know what dark magic created you, but you are not Percy"

And she kicked his hands off the sides of the fissure.

"ANNABETH CHASE, WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?" Chiron yelled

"INTO MY OFFICE, NOW"

Annabeth reluctantly followed Chiron, ignoring the shocked gazes of her cabin mates.

She followed Chiron into the Big House, and into his office.

"Annabeth Chase, why on earth did you kick Percy Jackson into the fissure?"

"That's not Percy."

"Impossible, Chiron said, "That is most definitely Percy"

Annabeth sighed  and explained her dream. Chiron looked thoughtful at the end of her story, and gazed at her with hardened eyes. "Guess we're going down to Tartarus then"
