Emy, Cameron, and I started packing up the car so we could leave. "Let me go tell my mom that I will be leaving for a few days. I'll be back okay?" Cameron said. I nodded my head softly as Cameron walked out of the front door. I finished putting the last four boxes in the trunk and closed it. Cameron came and sat in the passenger seat and slammed to door. He sat in the car crying and banging his fists on the dashboard. "Emy sit on the porch while I talk to Cammy okay?" I said. She nodded and sat on the porch with her baby doll. I got to the car and tugged at the handle. It was locked. I knocked on the window and motioned for Cameron to unlock the door. He unlocked the door and I hat in the driver's seat. "Cam, what's wrong?" I asked grabbing his hand which was trembling. "My dad is being rude, he wants me out and so does my mom. Can I possibly stay with you guys?" he asked sadly but worryingly. "Of course babe!! Lets go get your things." I said assuringly. Cameron grabbed my cheek, angrily, he stormed into his house. Cameron came back about 15 minutes later with two duffle bags and a bag of cheetos. I looked at him and said " Cheer up Cheeto-Boy. You've got us now." He smiled and rubbed my shoulder. "Emylia Anne Constance, get yo booty in the car." I yelled to Emy. She walked over to me and said "Shhhhhh don't use my full name. Thats my spy name." She got in the car and strapped herself in. She's pretty smart for a three year old. I grabbed my purse and the lunch box full of snacks for the trip and started the car. I handed Emy her blanket because she hadn't had a nap all day and she cuddled it and fell asleep. I could tell that Cameron was fighting the sleep as well so I gave him my blanket from the back and he curled up and was asleep within minutes. I put in the address of the house into my phone and the gps spoke and said "Your destination is 15 hours and 44 minutes away. I sighed and pulled out of the driveway. "Time for a new life." I mumbled sarcastically. This will be interesting.
