It was the weekend.

I woke up and groaned. I am going to hang out with some friends, around three or four friends. I got out of bed and saw my room was messy.

How does a room get messy when all I do is lay in bed?

I decided to worry about my messy room later and decided to eat breakfast. I texted Alejandro, Mary, and America.  We were in a group chat.

America:
Me and Mary are going to drop off Isabelle and pick her up. You and Alejandro are going to be alone. Sorry, we can't make it to the football game :(

Delusional Monkey:
Yeah, you can go with shot or sum.

Me:
It sure sounds good.

Alejandro:
But are we still going to Cane's?

America:
Yeah, the nearest near Duncanville closes at 1 am.

Delusional Monkey:
Isabelle will come with us tho. Her parents are out of town.

Me:
Sounds good. My car can fit around six people

Alejandro:
Gtg to practice

Delusional Monkey:
Gtg too, we're dropping off Isabelle

America:
Real. Bye.

Then we all logged off. I looked down at my plate and realized that I hadn't eaten one bite or sip of my breakfast. I take a sip of my coffee and see that it is already cold.

"I swear one day I'm going to break that phone." My mother said from the kitchen. She probably noticed me texting and not eating.

"I'm fine, ma," I respond and I place my phone down.

Ew. My food doesn't even look appetizing anymore. I check to see if my mom is looking and I see she is watering her plants.

"Max," I whispered.

A golden retriever slowly crept up from the table and panted. I give my breakfast to my dog and smile. "Good boy!" I whispered and patted his head.

The dog pants and then leaves to his crib. Thankfully, my mother didn't notice me serving the dog "human" food.

How is it human food if it doesn't even look edible?

At 3 pm, I'd left for the game.

I then stand up. "Bye mama, I'm going to the game," I say before grabbing my keys and leaving the house. I get inside my car and turn it on.

I put my favorite song on "Back to December" before driving to the game. I scream out my lungs while driving. If you were outside my car, you'd be able to hear it a mile away.

I arrived at the game, a few minutes early. The fee was free for students of the high school. I wait for the game to begin.

Once it does, I go to the middle spot and wait for Shot. I see him. His curly blonde hair, blue eyes, skinny yet toned body. It spoke to me.

We both sit and watch the game. I'm not a football guy. I play in my school's basketball team which I'm proud of.

I'm only here for Alejandro. Alejandro only.

Afterwards

The game was good. Shot's parents picked him up since his sister was in her gymnastics competition. I was alone and I waited outside for Alejandro to finish. The game finished around 6 pm which was an hour earlier before Isabelle finished all regions.

I see Alejandro walking out of the arena and he came up to me. "Hey." He smiled and looked at me. "Hey, did you enjoy it?" I asked.

"Yeah, did you?" He repeated my exact question. I gave him a small nod.

We both looked for my car, which I lost. We entered my car and I drove to Duncanville. We both talked about the game and how I didn't even want to come.

We arrived at the school and I called Mary. She picks up.

"What?"

"Is Isabelle done? Me and Ale are waiting outside." I replied.

"Sorry. Isabelle is still not ready, she'll be out in an hour."

"Oh."

"But, you should just go."

Alejandro sighed and he frowned. "Juicy Lucy?"

"Hell yeah." I smiled before turning the car back on.

We both drove to our favorite restaurant which makes the best burgers! I haven't heard anyone say they hate this place!

Once we two arrived, We got seated and I saw that Alejandro was looking around. "I wanna get high."

"WHAT." I was completely flabbergasted. Alejandro was never the guy or dude to even think about the Leafs.

"What made you change your mind?" I asked.

"Huh?" He mumbled as he averted his gaze into my eyes.

"Never mind." I look away and see a lady coming towards us.

"Are you two ready to order?" She smiled as she held a tablet.

We both nodded.

"I will have the Juicy BBQ." I started first.

"Anything else?"

"And a Vanilla latte with cream."

"And for you sir?" she then looked at Alejandrk who was looking at the menu.

"I will have a... uhm... a burger."

"What burger?"

"Same thing as him." He then looked at her after placing the menu down.

"That's a BBQ." She corrected him before walking away.

"The first ever woman to hate you." I scoffed then looked at Alejandro who's eyes were shining. I could get lost in them in a million ages.

"Shut up, you're just jealous in hot." He punched my arm.

"Ow. Bitch." I frowned and then looked around the restaurant. It was two old men who looked like they were on a date.

"Imagine that being us. Except were... friends."  I poked Alejandro's arm causing him to look in the direction of the old men.

"I don't think I'll make it past 39."

"And whys that?"
