Alejandro didn't answer.
I looked at him—looked down before I sighed. "I- are you okay?" I whispered.
"Yeah? You're being weird."
"Meanie."
I scoffed and laid my head on his shoulder. He looked at me and smiled. We both stayed in this position until the waiter brought us our food.
"Whoever talks shit first pays." He says as he takes a sip of his drink. He knows I'm going to end up paying.
"Fuck you too. That's why I hate you."
"And you already lost!"
I frowned at him, tempted to break a glass bottle on his head.

Monday.
I walked into school and saw Alejandro playing football with his best buddies.
"Hm." I hummed before entering school. The K hallway was scattered with students; boys and girls talking, conversing, and enunciation.
I was deeply annoyed by the loud tells, and screams made by the boys.
"Tell that to her"
"I'm bout slam yo ass"
"Go suck a dick, bitch"
"Then did donuts"
It was clear the small town that I lived in, was ghetto. I mean, the things that happened here were not something a 'normal' school would do. If I had the chance to move to another state, I would. Maybe Cali? Or even Floridia.
Texas sucks.
Being a popular kid in a public school depends on good looks, how much money you have, or how much hoes for popularity. It sucks.
I finally made my way to the cafeteria and found Thomas. My best friend, other than Alejandro of course.
Thomas was drawing and I quickly say next to him. "What are you drawing?" I asked.
He looked at me and smiled. "Nothing sweet sugar."
He was always the type to call his friend's pet names and it was kinda funny since it was unhinged.
I stared at his drawing and saw multiple cats in his drawings. "Cute," I muttered under his breath.
"Thanks." He smiled.
I smiled back.
"I was wondering if you wanted to go to the amusement park after school with me. I accidentally bought two tickets." He chuckled and I agreed.
Free rides. Count me in!
The rest of the day was normal.
Bell schedule:
1st; 8:15 - 9:03
2nd; 9:09 - 9:57
3rd; 10:03 - 10:54
4th; 11:00 - 11:48
5th; 11:53 - 1:18
A lunch; 11:48 - 12:18
B lunch; 12:18 - 12:48
C lunch; 12:48 - 1:18

7th; 2:17 - 3:06
8th; 3:12 - 4:00I have C lunch, meaning that once I enter 5th period then at 12:48 I go to lunch.
It kinda sucked to earn lunch at the end of the day. But it was also a reward as I didn't starve later in the day, unlike A lunch.

After SchoolI wait outside of the doors for Thomas. Who knew a guy who had outdoor Ed would be late to leave? Like aren't you outside already?
I had honors English which was on the top floor of the school since that's where the "over-achieving" students are located. God, I hate having English at the end of the day. It's like a free period to sleep honestly! If the teacher keeps talking about an old Russian 1880 book about a guy who killed an old lady, I'm going to fall asleep.
But honestly, the old lady's expiration date was due years ago, so...
I snapped back to reality and saw Thomas walk up. He was sweating and was wearing a tank top with baggy black jeans. "Hey." I smiled, to which he replied with a wave.
"Can we take your car? I have my car at the dealer." He chuckled awkwardly since he wasn't the person to ask a favor.
I nodded my head and started to walk across the parking lot. We saw everyone walking to their cars, others were going on buses or walking home.
We then drive to McDonald's before heading to the fair.
"I can't believe you didn't get McChickens!" I repelled with annoyance.
"The chicken sandwich is better, You're on crack if you think this isn't S-tier," Thomas said as he took a huge bite from the sandwich. The lettuce and the ranch gooed over the side which made me want to vomit but I just continued to eat my delicious nuggets.
After having a little snack, I and Thomas arrived at the fair. I see the rides; Roller coasters, kids' rides, and the stands.
We paid, which was on Thomas since I wasted all my jack on the stupid McDonald's.
First, we went on the roller coasters at the back of the park. Then, we went on the kids' rides which were way better. Lastly, we got ourselves some dip n-dots.
We left the park and I dropped him off.
"Goodbye, see you at school tomorrow," I said to him with a smile.
He didn't say anything before cupping my cheeks and placing a firm kiss on my lips.
