“Tssuu-kaaa-ssaaa.” I whined, frowning. I rested my head on the door. He was in his room, getting ready just to meet up with some friends.

“You need to stop being so clingy.” He hollers. I hated him for this. Certainly I would get him back for this.

“Oh.. But Tsukasa..!” I continued, “As your soon-to-be lover–”

Tsukasa groans with frustration. I was extremely clingy, he was right. If you became my friend, you would forever have to suffer through the thought that you may or may not be stuck with me forever depending on your kindness level. I gave everyone a kindness level. Most ranging from 25% to 60%. The highest level someone’s ever gotten was Emu. She has a 90%. Tsukasa has a 88% and Nene is down to 83%.

Emu’s was at 90% because she was probably the kindest and nicest person I’ve ever interacted with. Tsukasa is 88% because well, his number is 88. 88 piano keys. He loves playing piano. Plus, he’s kind overall. Nene is 83% because she’s kind but sometimes has an attitude. There was a lot to give for people.

You may wonder why a villain, a murderer, gave people kindness ranks. It’s because I want to know who my trustworthy friends are.

The door opens, Tsukasa appearing in front of me. “There, are you happy?” He was wearing yellow eyeliner and orange eyeshadow, matching his hair. “Also, what do you mean by ‘soon-to-be?’”

I smile in awe. “Awhh..” I hug him. He was very adorable.

“Rui! Get off me!” He complained. I knew it was probably not a good idea to mess with him right after his father almost died, but I loved him too much to care.

I smile, hugging him a bit tighter. His face was bright red. “But you’re so cute, how am I supposed t–”

“Tsukasa, I’m going to go visit dad! The doctors said it’s alright now! Or at least to be on stand-by!” Saki had called out, the front door opening then shutting.

She was gone in an instant.

“Oh– uh– okay?” Tsukasa knew he was too late on answering.  Even so, he sighed. “Geez..”

I let go of him, sensing he was a bit upset. I mean, who wouldn’t be? Your father almost dies by the hands of your own sister and now your partner(?) who just so happens to be a villain is covering you in affection.

I didn’t even know if we were dating. Whether it was to even be decided. I could only hope that it was soon going to be confirmed. I huff out a breath, frustrated with myself for not knowing the answer.

I liked Tsukasa, and he admitted to liking me. Surely that means..?

No. Rui. You can’t just assume things. Literally last night he hated you!

I furrow my eyebrows, extremely unsure. “Tsukasa?” I mutter, hoping for an answer. He responded with a quick ‘hm?’ I knew he had not been paying attention. Not at all was he.

I take a deep breath. “From last night.. Uhm..” My voice drifts off as I notice he was a bit distracted by a singular misplaced hair he had on his head. He always grew bothered by even the simplest of things.

“Rui, does my hair look weird?” He asks, completely avoiding what I was trying to say. His face was up in his mirror, desperately trying to figure out what was wrong with his hair.

Personally, I didn’t see anything wrong with it. I thought it looked the same as always. But, being the perfectionist Tsukasa is, i’m sure he saw a tiny baby hair stick up and grew bothered by it.
