As I was walking to the corridor of our building, naramdaman ko ang yapos sa aking likuran. Tiningnan ko agad kung sino yun and I was so happy that it was Andrew.
"Oh, tapos na yung klase mo?" tanong ko.
"Pumasok lang yung prof namin saglit, wala pa kaming matinong klase kase first day. Ikaw? Akala ko meron kang pasok ngayon sa kabilang building?" balik nya
"Di pumasok ang prof kaya umalis nalang ako at nag libot sa campus" sagot ko.
Me and Andrew are already in a relationship for two years. We started dating when we were in Senior High School. And, I am happy that we are still together now that we are already college students.
We are freshmen here in UST, I am taking Political Science while he's studying Civil Engineering. We decided to study in UST because we dreamt to study here together ever since we started dating.
"Tara, let's roam around campus together" aya niya.
Hindi naman ako tumanggi dahil gustong gusto ko din talagang libutin ang campus kahit sobrang lapad nito. I want to witness every nice spots since I will be staying here for 4 years and ang mahal ng tuition dito para hindi ko sulitin.
"I think it would be hard for me to adjust on our new set up" biglang sambit nya habang nag lalakad kami sa grass field ng school.
"Huh? What do you mean?" tanong ko
"You know, back in our old school we used to be always together since we are just classmates. Now, we are in different courses and different schedule so I know that our time would be limited together." sambit nya
"We will always make sure to make time for us to bond, my clingy boy." sagot ko naman habang natatawa
Me and Andrew took Stem as our strand in Senior High School. Although political science is not related to Stem, I really want that course because I want it to be my pre law course before I will go to law school.
Andrew on the other hand, really wanted to be Civil Engineer because he told me that when we will have our own family and have a house, he want to be the one to build it. I find it funny and cute knowing that he has already set a plan for our future even though we are still young.
Minsan tinatawanan ko nalang ang mga hirit at biro niya dahil talagang alam nya na ang mga gusto niyang gawin.
I can't wait to reach our dreams ng sabay and to complete the goals we have set.
"Uwi na tayo, tinatamad na ko" sambit ko ng naka ramdam na ng pagod sa paglalakad.
"Okay, love." sagot naman nya.
We went to parking para kunin ang sasakyan niya at ihatid ako pauwi. We are in different subdivision kaya medyo malayo pa ang uuwian nya galing sa amin.
Habang nag hihintay kami na maging green ang spotlight, nag kwe kwentuhan lang kami ng mga sa palagay namin mangyayari sa college life namin.
"Are you excited?" tanong ko
"Excited to what?" balik namang tanong niya
"To have new experience here in college" sagot ko
"Of course, I'm excited. Lalo na dahil alam kong you're here to experience a lot of new first times with me" sabi niya sa baling ng tingin sakin
I just smiled and looked outside the window. I really like what my life looked like right now.
