but then, i woke up, panting for air trying to catch my breath after what I had just witnessed.
"Tiana? Ti? are you awake?"
I shot back when she jumped up of bed.
"whoa I guess it was just a dream.." she said
"wait a minute.. what dream Ti?" I think I have an idea but theres no way we couldve had the same dream
"um its kinda hard to explain but the four of us were getting chased by a creature?.." My eyes widened when I heard what she said
"Tiana.. we have to talk. lets get the boys too"
"huh? why? whats going on are you alright?"
"yeah I just need to make sure of something." theres no way this can be happening right now, it's not even possible
In the boys room
"lucas, jayden, we have to talk."
"don't tell me you guys had the same dream too.." Jayden said and my eyebrows scrunched up
"about that creature, right?" lucas looked at the three of us for confirmation
"yeah we did so we need to figure out whats going on cause this is definitely not a coincidence." I walked towards their bed to sit
"okay so what time did everyone start dreaming or fall asleep? Ti and I went to bed at 12:00"
"us too" jayden said
"okay so then something about midnight.."
"the creature had claws sharper than a razor blade and the eyes were bloodshot red, it had no other color to it." Tiana reminded us
"does anyone have any idea why this could be happening?" I asked
"probably because of that haunted house that was "harmless"
"yeah your right, so what if we go back and see if we notice anything?" I requested.
"its gonna be risky but we have to know whats going on, we need to be prepared."
"yeah, lets go tomorrow?" lucas said
my hearts still beating I don't know what to do
"ok so how about we all stay together tonight just in case."
"Tiana? where did you get that scratch from?" I asked
"what scratch?" she looked down at her leg
"I don't remember scratching myself... but I did in the dream"
"wait so does that mean our injuries can be brought back into the real world?" We all looked at Jayden.
"you might be right... I mean something did scratch me at the haunted house too but, nothing was there.."
"great so now we have to be extra cautious." lucas said in a disappointed way
"that also means we don't leave anyone behind. got it?"
I don't even know why i'm trying to lead everyone, it's not like i'm gonna be much help anyways.
"wait so if our injuries get brought to the real world, does that mean if we put objects in places that'll help us we'll be able to use them in the weird world?"
thats one of the smartest things i've heard jayden say in a while.
"how about we try it out with a weapon? like a knife.. or a hammer.." I said
"sure, thats a smart " Tiana approved of my idea, I dont know why but it makes me feel.. happy? its weird.
"oooh i have a fun name for them, lets call them macabres???" lucas said with glee
"uhh ok?" I dont understand how hes so excited when were literally going to be killed.
"lets prepare.." Ti said seriously
