Jisung jumped onto Changbin and both of them fell into the water while Chan and Jeongin laughed at their pathetic asses seemingly drowning in knee-deep water, and Felix watched all of it with not even a hint of a smile on his face.
Opposite to that, his forehead was knitted in a deep frown and his lips were puckered in displeasure. Annoyed, as everyone would describe it, with his pheromones turning sour without his blockers. And all of them seemed to know the reason why but didn't bother to try and talk him out of it.
“Why don't you join them, dear? Go and play with them in the water, and maybe your head will cool off.”
The omega was leaning his head onto his grandma's shoulder as they sat on a beach blanket, under some big umbrellas.
The weather was nice. The Sun wasn't too hot on the skin, but the sky was clear. It's a good day — or at least it was until an hour ago.
The plan to swim had been quickly forgotten as Felix's mood shifted in pique.
“I'm fine here, Ma.”
“You don't look fine to me,” The grandma insisted, pressing a palm over his cheek. “If you're not happy about it, why not call Hyunjinnie over?”
“Why would I? Just let him be,” Felix's eyes flicked over where the said male was, eyes rolling as he saw the other smiling and laughing. “He looked stupid. What's so funny?”
Ever since that female beta came this morning, Hyunjin had been distracted. He's the one who wanted to go swimming, saying things about how much he missed the sea, and now where was he? None of his toes had yet to touch the water since they got to the beach.
Felix couldn't even talk to him because every time he tried, the girl would cut through or talk over him. And she's been all over Hyunjin, always following him around, being obnoxiously loud, and being all too clingy.
She even introduced herself to everyone, claiming to be Hyunjin's best friend from way back their teenage years, spewing nonsense about how she and Hyunjin were always together whenever the latter visited and so on and so forth that no one really cared about.
Now, Felix didn't have a problem with her... initially; not until she looked at Felix's direction with judging eyes and a perked-up brow. The gesture ticked the omega off and altered his opinion about the girl.
He didn't appreciate being scrutinized, so he'd been irritable ever since.
“You're so stubborn, dear,” Grandma Natti laughed. “Aigo, since you're having a little crisis in your head, shall we have a walk around? After all, it's such nice weather to be frowning like that.”
“Ma, I'm not frowning,” Felix's pout deepened, but he got up anyway, helping his grandma up as well, dusting his butt off of sand after. “Should we have some fresh fruit juice? I think I saw people selling it a little walk from here.”
The grandma smiled, giving Felix a slight nod.
The omega asked the grandma to wait while he also asked the other guys if they wanted something to drink.
“Oh wait, I'll come with you.” Offered Chan, wiping the sea water off his face with his hands.
Seeing Chan from here with his arms exposed, Felix could somehow understand why Jeongin suddenly cursed from under his teeth right at seeing the elder alpha in a sleeveless top. Although not exactly for him, Felix couldn't deny that the other did have such a nice built.
“Uh, sure, if you want to.” He agreed easily since Chan would be the one to handle everything they would buy.
“Baby, where are you going?”
