Felix twisted on the bed. He tossed around and again, even hugging his grandma and snogging a pillow in an attempt to sleep.

What happened earlier by the beach kept repeating inside his head.

He kissed Hyunjin.

He kissed him on the lips, and until that moment, he could still remember how Hyunjin froze, how his eyes widened and his breath hitched in his throat.

Felix could still remember the strong smell of woods and wine that surrounded them, seeming more enticing as it blended in the cold air as the taller came back from the initial shock and finally kissed him back.

So softly, careful with every move.

The feeling of his tender hands pulling the omega closer around his waist, the feeling of his lips as he moved them with Felix's and as they parted, the look of disbelief mixed with satisfaction on Hyunjin's face as if he couldn't believe what just happened came flashing to Felix like it just happened two seconds ago.

It was the first time Felix kissed someone by his own will. And it was the first time they had kissed again after what happened to them. Given, Hyunjin would give him pecks all over his face from time to time, but he never kissed the omega on the lips. Never tried to. Probably because he didn't want to make the shorter uncomfortable or do something that would mess up their peaceful dynamic which the blonde greatly appreciated.

Felix turned on his back once again, and this time, he heard his grandma make a sound indicating that she might wake up soon if Felix kept on tossing and turning like a highschool girl that's been kissed for the first time ever.

Instead of disturbing his grandma's rest, Felix decided to just get himself some water, hoping it could wash away the fuzzy feeling that had been invading his senses all night.

Tracing his way down the halls carefully, Felix reached his destination without a hassle. He got himself some water and settled on an island stool.

“Hyung?”

Felix snapped his eyes away from the moist merging with one another from his cold glass, seeing as Jeongin emerged to the kitchen, heading straight for the fridge.

“Hey, why are you still up?” Felix asked, not having anything else to say. He still felt a little awkward towards Jeongin, partly because of how they met and how he acted the first time. Another part was because he was Hyunjin's family. Felix didn't know, but something in that fact made him feel a little fiddly.

“I needed to go to the bathroom. You? Why are you sitting alone in the dark, hyung?” Jeongin put back the glass pitcher inside the fridge, drinking almost half with his fox-like eyes still trained on Felix.

“Yeah, couldn't sleep.”

“Let me guess, because of Hyunjin hyung, isn't it?”

The younger boy flashed Felix a sly smile as Felix's face flushed a deep red.

“Kinda.” Why deny, right? It was true anyway. Besides, Felix had a feeling that the younger omega wouldn't appreciate it if he lied.

Felix knew Jeongin wanted to build a stronger bond between them, to get to know Felix better for many reasons and one of them was probably because he was Hyunjin's partner, Jeongin's one and only favourite cousin.

He probably left a great impression of himself the first time they met, hence the younger one's curious eyes always followed him around as if assessing him carefully. And for some reason, Felix wanted to win Jeongin over.

“He likes you.”

Felix blinked, probably blushing even more now, hearing how casually Jeongin threw that on his face. Still, he tried to act composed, like his walls weren't just shaken by that statement.
